The Enchanted Cottage está ubicado en mi patio trasero con su propio patio privado cercado y una entrada privada. Está recién remodelado y tiene una cocina dulce para satisfacer cualquier necesidad de cocción. Tiene una zona de cama alta que es tan adorable. Hay áticos que bajan las escaleras para mantener el espacio habitable más espacioso. Las escaleras son completamente seguras, pero son escaleras abatibles en el ático, así que prepárate para subir al desván y subir a una cama de matrimonio muy suave. Es un lindo y encantador lugar para pasar una noche o incluso un mes si tienes la suerte de quedarte y disfrutarlo tanto tiempo. Cuenta con un baño completo con bañera, un gran armario y también una lavadora y secadora. ¡Todas sus necesidades se acomodan en esta pequeña y dulce casa!

Place was laid out as expected. However, the cleanliness was not there. The shower tub seemed like it wasn’t cleaned after the previous tenants as hair and a layer of slime was all along the tub, drain and shower curtain. The mattress was atrociously uncomfortable.

I love the Enchanted cottage. It was a super cute stay. I enjoyed the kitten area and how close the bathroom was. I love the interior design really gave the place a sense of self. Also I felt super safe and didn’t have to worry about anyone coming in to bother me during my week stay.

Cute cabin but not for everyone
I enjoyed my stay in the Enchanted cabin, it was priced well, comfortable and quiet and check in/out was super easy. That said, there are a couple of things that didn't bother me (or I enjoyed) that might be issues for others. 1) The property is one of three located in the owner's yard. You can't tell when you are inside, but you know the moment you look out. 2) As accurately described in the listing, the sleeping area in a loft accessed by climbing up a folding ladder (like you would to get into an attic). I thought this was fun but: - It takes a little overhead strength to get the ladder down - The head clearance at the top made it necessary for me to go a short distance on my knees, which isn't for everyone - If you have things you want to bring into the bed (ipad, chargers, etc), this may be a challenge. Overall, I found the listing accurate and enjoyed my stay, but some of it's quirks won't be for everyone

Absolutely enchanting!
We stayed here for our elopement trip. It was the perfect spot to start our adventure. The Host was kind and personable. We were very comfortable and LOVED the sleeping nook upstairs. Thank you for an enchanting stay!!!

lack of information
Property was very nice, clean, decorated good,.....one BIG problem, no where in the discription of the property did it state that the bedroom was a loft and you had to climb a rickity latter to get to the bed. We are in our late 60s and climbing that ricikty latter was scary and terrible. Looked back at all the information and pictures, NO mention of the rickety latter or that the bedroom was in a loft with very low ceiling, whitch we had to crawel on our hands and knees and hit our heads on ceiling many time. Also there was no bottled water, sugar for coffee, keenx, all the other properties we have stayed at had that and more, (oatmeal pac that they furnished was so old it tasted like paste). We are not very happy at all. We come to Vancouver area to see lots of relitives and this property is off our list now.

"Enchanted Cottage" deceiving description
Nice quiet neighborhood setting but once you round the back of the house where there are two more rental properties who keep their exterior lights on at night the enchanted cottage becomes no more than an aging rundown tiny house set up in someone's backyard in order to pay the mortgage for the front house. The bathroom faucet dripped constantly. The shower handle came off in my hand. The pull down steps to the loft bedroom were so steep - they are a liability at best; an accident waiting to happen. The bed is immediately in front of you once you climb to the loft and then the bed is on the floor. The mattress leaves a lot to be desired with a divot in the middle where one immediately rolls into. The washer and dryer were filthy with gobs of lint that hadn't been cleaned out. My socks were black from walking on the floor as I doubt it had been mopped recently. I was so disappointed that although I had paid for 3 nights I left a day early.
