“Beautiful location, modern indoor finishing, very clean, hot tub is nice on cool nights. Has all of the extras you could possibly need: hamok, kayak, canoe, paddleboard, BBQ, dishwasher, TV, wifi, laundry over a two night stay. The host was lovely, lots of good ideas for things to do locally, very responsive.We loved our stay and would happily come back!”

“The property was nicely secluded, with multiple trails leading up to the top of the escarpment with a lovely view of Golden Lake. “This little log cabin was a great place to stay. We were only in the area briefly for a family wedding but the cabin more than met our needs. Our only complication was that there was no one to orientate us on arrival, but we got things sorted with a minimum of effort and keys had been left for us to lock up when we came and went.We would have liked to explore the area more but perhaps another time.”

“We had a girls getaway weekend and this was the perfect place to do it! From the moment we walked in everything was perfect! Jess is a very thoughtful host and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend including towels, robes, coffee, tea, and even a charcuterie board upon arrival! You can tell that Jess has put a lot of time and thought into each little detail. We can’t wait to make this our yearly getaway! Highly recommend :)”

Unfortunately, the hosts felt the need to constantly be involved throughout our stay. “A cottage well equipped to make meals, enjoy sunsets in porch without worry of mosquitos, equipment for folks who enjoy water sports. However, no TV coverage, only WIFI so evenings , if not folks who enjoy doing games, watching DVDs, evenings can be boring. Toilet usage can be a bit troublesome if a large group as takes time for removal of wastes via toilet. Overall, for us, it met our needs. ”
