The only thing I didn't like is the wash basin in bathroom had a spout so low it was difficult to even wash your hands without bumping. The microwave cabinet was placed right above kitchen sink where you can hit your head if not careful. “Overall we had a good experience at the property. It had a central location in the centre of town and walking distance to the shops. Despite this the area was quiet and safe, with ample facilities and a jumping pillow for the kids. The cabin itself was spacious and clean, though the kitchen was lacking a couple of utensils that we always use (kitchen shears and a turner for cooking). Still, we enjoyed a nice, relaxing stay. Would book here again if we find ourselves in Portland in the future.”

“Anna and Steve were lovely hosts, including everything in the cottage from tea and coffee, kitchen appliances and bathroom additions such as soaps and bath crystals. The cottage was beautifully designed and spacious, with a stunning back porch and front gardens with a fountain, large outdoor chess set and picnic areas made this holiday tranquil and welcoming. The guest book was extensive with information on the cottage and places in the area to visit. Thank you for having us, we loved our stay....

“The house is terrific for families, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy yourself. The location is within walking distance of the main street. We could pretty much walk from the house to any popular spot in Portland. So handy. The house has a real holiday feel; not too overdone which is great for anyone who has kids. Elizabeth was super easy to communicate with and the whole process was seamless. Thanks so much for having us. We loved our stay.”
