I stayed in the Wood Duck cottage and had an amazing time! Would definitely return. The sound of the rushing water was super peaceful, and the campground was well maintained. I most appreciated the AC/fan at night, the nearby walking trail and the fenced off leash dog park. I was thankful to have the cottage with the shaded deck as the Mallard cottage deck was fully in the sun the entire day. I also wish the VRBO description had indicated to bring my own sheets and towels. It might be important for others to know that you can see and hear your neighbours on either side, which might not be a relaxing experience for a reactive dog. Overall, a delightful stay!

Loved this spot and the campground owners. Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we needed to end our stay unexpectedly early so did not enjoy as long as we booked.

Comfortable and fun

Friendly owners, friendly seasonal families. We brought our dog, she loved it. River was refreshing, beach was lots of fun with some awesome jumping platforms. Lazy river tubing was great, kids loved the basketball game and the bouncer. Cottages were clean, comfortable and well maintained. Camp sites also clean and well maintained. We felt at ease letting our kids go explore on their own. Wonderful mini vacation for all of us.

Great hidden gem; unfortunately poor weather interfered with our outdoor activity plans. There's a strong sense of family and lot of child friendly activities. Greeted by owners/operators who were very courteous and helpful. Everything exactly as presented.

Beyond inpressed such a beautiful area and cottage right on the water with a littke rushing stream. The cottage is so clean and cute. This was my first time but definitely will not be my last!

Great little Getaway

Get away

Stayed in the Wood Duck cottage. Clean and everything you needed inside. Hosts were very accommodating. River and rapids right outside the door was heavenly.

Mid-week Respite

Although there were a lot of RVs on the sites, most seemed to be empty waiting for the weekend when their owners arrived. It was very quiet and peaceful being by the rapids. The property was very well maintained and the cabin had everything you'd need. The bed was really comfortable too!

Beautiful

Very Clean. Loved our Cabin is was so cute, I only wished you could open an window or at least have a screen door for air flow because there was a nice breeze coming from outside. It's unfortunate that we couldn't do that as it felt stuffy at times. other than the relentless, crazy, zombie flies it was a great experience, I wish I could stay one more day.
