“For the past 6 years we have tested out various VRBO properties, trying to find the "perfect" spot for our family get togethers...and this past Labor Day weekend, we found it! Our requirements included: 1. Sandy beach with gradual depth so the grandkids could play...check! 2. Clear water so we could swim off the pontoon boat or dock...check! 3. Lake that's large enough to pull a raft behind the boat, but not over crowded with boaters...check! 4. A large, clean property...check! This house...

“Great location in the middle of national forest and lots of recreation opportunities ”

“This is our second year staying at the Deer Trail lodges. We have loved our experiences so much that we are trying to start a tradition of going every year. The cabin is rustic and cozy. One of my favorite memories is going down to the dock and a tching the stars. We enjoyed kayaking, bonfires, watching movies with cider, and just being in a "fall" oriented space. ”

“Beautiful updated little cabin right outside of Cable. We took our family side by side and this house was right off a trail for easy access. Lots of places to go with an ATV. Would recommend! ”

Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!”
