NUEVO LISTADO. Cedar Mountain View es una cabaña recientemente renovada ubicada a 3 millas de la Universidad de South Sewanee. Es el lugar perfecto para que los antiguos alumnos y padres se queden al visitar el área o simplemente un lugar para escapar del ajetreo y el bullicio de la vida de la ciudad. La ubicación también lo hace perfecto para aquellos que exploran rutas de senderismo en Sewanee o Monteagle, visitan el lago Tims Ford o asisten a un concierto subterráneo en las Cavernas.
Esta cabina moderna de estilo escandinavo se encuentra en 11 acres privados a una altura de 1360 pies, ¡sin vecinos en el sitio! El estilo lo distingue de otras cabañas. Disfrute de un amanecer, un amanecer o un atardecer desde la bañera de hidromasaje en la cubierta superior. Un lugar perfecto para observar las estrellas.
     La sala de estar abierta en la planta baja cuenta con una encimera de arce de borde vivo para comer o disfrutar de una cena con vista en la mesa del patio. La cocina incluye un refrigerador, horno y microondas para cocinar su comida perfecta. El dormitorio principal de arriba cuenta con una cama queen size, mientras que el dormitorio de abajo incluye 2 camas individuales. Hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar. La cabina dormirá un máximo de 6 personas. Una lavadora y secadora de tamaño compacto, así como una plancha están en el lugar. Hay DISH TV, con más de 120 canales.
La sala de juegos en el garaje cuenta con air hockey, un tablero de dardos, una mesa de futbolín, un juego electrónico de baloncesto, un televisor de pantalla plana con acceso a DISH y un estéreo de dientes azules. Para los días soleados, también tenemos tablas de cornhole y bochas. También hay una caja de juguetes llena de juguetes para los niños.
¡Creemos que un fuego de madera de cedro podría ser el mejor olor del mundo! ¡Tenemos la madera, tú traes los smores! Una fogata se encuentra a pocos pasos de la casa, junto con una parrilla de gas. Las luces de fiesta que cuelgan encima agregan el brillo perfecto.

Weekend at Sewanee
Loved our stay here. Quick access to Sewanee and a beautiful, serene setting made for a fun weekend. Our favorite hangout spot was definitely the Game Room in the garage!

Great Little Getaway
We enjoyed this little mountainside getaway. Great location for hiking and the Caverns with a private property to relax and unwind. The hot tub was a must after the long hikes! The kids enjoyed the game room and lots of space to play and run around.

We had the most amazing time. We were looking for something secluded and modern with beautiful views and this place exceeded our expectations! We planned on coming to the area to elope and once we saw how beautiful the property was we asked if we could get married there. Perfectly away from everything
It’s perfect for getting away but not too far away. It takes a little bit of extra effort to get up to it but it’s worth it. We did the Greeter Falls trail about 40 minutes away this time and we 10/10 recommend. It was a little over a mile with a lot of steep elevation changes but it was thrilling and the views were worth it. The hot tub on a chilly morning and evening was blissful. The fire pit helped us be able to enjoy the outdoors with some extra warmth. The added hammock since our last trip was the most peaceful chill spot ever. A+

Fantastic experience - will definitely try to book again!
We stayed here in early November for Sewanee's homecoming weekend. Loved the cabin, the guest house, and the peaceful surroundings with incredible views. The drive up Roarks Cove Road to campus was scenic and pretty easy from the cabin. Is a much quieter option than others that are in the "Sewanee-Montagle corridor". Highly recommend!

Greatest hosts you could ask for
Not only was the cabin itself amazing but the hosts nathan and his wife Amanda went absolutely above and beyond what a host normally would. Could not recommend the cabin enough. If you want to stay in Tennessee this is the place.

Lovely house
The house is quite attractive and well appointed with unexpected extras (lots of DVD's, outdoor grill, fire pit, etc). We didn't have time to take advantage of the game room, but it looks like great fun. The house is 15-20 minutes from Sewanee (where the family wedding was), in a very quiet area. The biggest surprise was not the gravel road as such, but the 1/2 mile of pretty steep hill up to the house. And the gravel road itself could use some maintenance,

Great & fun cabin
Had a great time staying at the cabin. The cabin was super clean & very homey. My husband thought this was the best cabin we stayed at thus far. The game room was great. We loved playing the arcade games for sure. The hot tub was super nice as well. Beautiful views from the balcony!! We'll definitely be back & hopefully bring the kids with us as we believe they would love it!! Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys cabins & outdoors to stay. Great hosts as well

Quiet getaway
If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing getaway this is your place to go! The game room in garage provides some fun entertainment. However, sitting in the hot tub under a clear Tennessee night sky was the best! We listened to owls, and watched deer roam across the yard. Great place!!

4th on the Mountain
Our entire family enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July weekend. We were able to easily access Sewanee's campus for 4th of July festivities and for several hiking trails. Our children (9, 8, and 4) loved the game room, exploring the property, and deer watching from the hot tub. It is a perfect, quiet get away. There are so many details that make this property a wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful family vacation spot
The whole experience from booking to asking questions before the trip, to staying at this location was awesome. The home owners communicated quickly, and answered all of our questions. The home is a cute small cottage, with lots of personal touches. It was a prefect place if you are looking for a quiet place to relax. Our teens loved the game room, and we loved the views on the top balcony. Yoga in the gazebo in the morning provides a beautiful view, and the breeze up on the hill is awesome. The local restaurants were great, our favorite was the Mi Casa in Monteagle, TN. Within a 30 minute drive, are two places we recommend; The Caverns, and the South Cumberland trails. The water falls in the area are beautiful. One thing I could see being a drawback for some is the steep dirt road leading to the home. We didn’t have any issues, but some may find this to be an issue. Overall this was a wonderful trip, and we enjoyed unplugging for a few days.

Amazing spot!
Loved staying here and would love to stay again! We stayed here as it was a short drive to the Caverns where we went to see a concert. This home was perfect for my family the game room kept the kids entertained and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is the spot! Thank you!

Nice small get away for a small group. This cabin maximized the possible use of the space available
I would stay here again but my two complaints are that the stair way is way too low and would definitely not recommend for anyone tall and the checkout time is way too early.
