Walked up to entrance covered in leaves from hailstorm 2 days earlier. All open shelves covered in dust, from eating bowls and drinking glasses to folded towels in bathroom. First thing we did was run laundry on bath towels and wipe everywhere. Told Brittiany who immediately blamed ME for requesting early checkin. All I did was ASK, to decide whether to book a round of golf to fill time. If she really had such high standards, why would she wait till last minute to "check", knowing full well cleaners needed after hailstorm?
This house been for sale a while. Everything geared to showings rather than comfort of vacationers. This place has good bones: higher ceiling, colored concrete floor, big quality windows and doors, good plumbing. Things house buyers don't care: saggy mattress, cheap dresser inside closet with dusty old printer on top, shaky luggage rack. "Glasses" are 90% plastic, not even one real glass bigger than 1C, I drank out of glass vase. Slept on pull out couch, had to fold up every am and set bed every pm. I wouldn't complain had we paid half of what we paid, not even weekly rate discount for 2 weeks.
Photos don't show new 6' brown wood fence around entire guesthouse that blocks long wall of windows. Not allowed to look through pool area to ravine. She also "encourage no communication with main house guests". This is a quarantine unit! Place will be cold in winter, no sun inside and none on patio by noon. Caution very high emf for those sensitive.
