Mountain View Cottage

Nuestra casa y casa de huéspedes se encuentra en 11 ac. ubicado en el valle en una colina entre Lookout y Sand Mountains. Nuestra entrada tiene más de 400 pies de largo, lo que permite mucha privacidad. La cabaña fue construida como una suite de suegra ubicada por separado en la entrada de la casa principal. Hay dos estanques en esta propiedad de la montaña, el estanque principal tiene aproximadamente 1,5 ac ubicado a lo largo del borde de la carretera, el segundo estanque estará lleno de bagre, este estanque fue construido y aún no está completamente lleno de agua. Se ubicaron a 1 - 3 millas de varios buenos restaurantes locales y de cadena en la ciudad. Estamos a poca distancia en coche del cañón Cloudland -10 minutos, Rock City, Ruby Falls y Chattanooga, también están a poca distancia. ¡Ruby Falls cuenta con una torre de escalada de 40 pies con cinco rutas de dificultad variable y 700 pies de tirolinas con impresionantes vistas del valle de Tennessee! También Lookout Mountain Flight Park- Centro de entrenamiento de ala delta y parapente. Una de las mejores experiencias de ala delta en el país está a solo 10-15 minutos.

Mountain get away
Absolutely top notch. Our stay was wonderful, our host was very prompt to text with arrival and departure instructions. Their property was immaculate and every possible item was provided. I would definitely recommend this property for a couple who are wanting to explore the area. We hiked every day and never ran out of places to see. Very convenient to grocery stores you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Thank you James and Angela for hosting us.

Peaceful secluded private cottage
We loved our time at the cottage. It was clean and up to date. Comfortable bed and great AC. Shower was spacious and refreshing. Close to interstate but safely tucked behind a gated home lot. Anniversary Stay
My wife and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon in 2022 and liked it so much we decided to go back for our first anniversary. The property is located about 30 minutes from Chattanooga and if you like waterfalls Cloudland Canyon is a must. The house is very clean, and the host think of everything. I put in the booking that we were coming back for our anniversary, and they had a gift basket and a card for use when we arrived. We enjoyed looking at the goats, chickens and sitting by the lake as well. We will defiantly stay here again.

Quiet Getaway for MeeMaw
What started out as a quiet getaway for just me turned into a possible stay for 2 more family members, but didn’t. Communication with Angela was perfect every step of the way. I ended up not getting checked in until almost 11PM, but the lights were on with a quaint little covered porch to greet me. It was so inviting and I was glad to finally be there! I was impressed by the tasteful decor that I took pics of many cute rustic/farmhouse items to add to my shopping list for my own farmhouse just about 5 miles away! The atmosphere was serene and I felt safe and secure being there alone. The main house is across the driveway, but was in no way intrusive to my little “bubble” in the cottage. All the little touches were very much appreciated from the awesome complimentary coffee mugs (goats!) to the spa-like toiletries, I felt pampered. The towels were super soft and fluffy (also made a note to find them for myself!) and the bed linens were oh so comfy! I will be staying again as it is close by enough in case I’m needed quickly and yet far enough “away” to feel like I went on a “trip”. Oh, and it’s conveniently located near grocery stores, the town square, local attractions like the Flight Park, Cloudland Canyon State Park and other natural wonders. But I was just fine hanging out in the cottage enjoying the Mountain View and the eye candy (rustic decor) around the property! Thank you James & Angela for creating such an extraordinary place for anyone needing some self-care!

This little home is very nice! Owners were courteous and professional. Conveniently located between Chattanooga, Ft. Payne, Mentone, and even Rome, GA. Home is upscale for the value! Highly recommend !!

Fantastic Stay
My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend as guests of James and Angela. The property was beautiful, and I enjoyed saying hello to the goats and chickens in the morning. The guest house was perfect, and I loved all the little details. We would love to return!

Could not have chosen at a better place. It was the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed. No joke. Every little detail thought out and neat floor plan. Wished we could have stayed for the long-haul. Lovely cottage
We had a short one-night stay at the cottage on our way to Cloudlands Canyon. It was incredibly easy to check in, and we appreciated all the finishing touches that were in the cottage. In the morning, my son, who is 3, loved the rooster sounds and enjoyed watching the roosters out the back window. We definitely recommend!
