Lynden Cottage - construido en 1884 en el corazón de Trentham

Lynden es una casa histórica situada en el centro de Trentham. Proporciona un lugar perfecto para parejas o familias que buscan un fin de semana tranquilo o unas vacaciones relajantes. Ubicado entre otras casas tradicionales de tablas meteorológicas en una de las calles más históricas de Trentham, Lynden Cottage se encuentra a 3 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad, a la vez que se encuentra a poca distancia del hermoso bosque estatal Wombat.

Lynden Cottage fue construida en 1884 y ha sido completamente renovada mientras intentaba mantener su encanto original. Los pisos han sido recientemente pulidos. Una nueva cocina ofrece todas las características modernas, como lavavajillas y horno microondas, junto con una hermosa mesa de pino báltico con capacidad para 10. Hay tres habitaciones con capacidad para 7 personas, una con una cama king size, otra con una cama queen size (y TV) y la tercera con una litera y una cama individual. Todas las camas tienen mantas eléctricas. Hay una lavadora y la casa se encuentra en un gran bloque de medio acre con un gran trampolín redondo libre de muelles. Una cabaña de minero restaurada que data de la década de 1860 está justo detrás de la cabaña y está disponible para los huéspedes.

Se admiten mascotas. El patio está completamente cercado y seguro. Le invitamos a traer a su perro adentro, pero le pedimos que no lo lleve a las habitaciones o que no lo permita en los muebles. También le pedimos que limpie lo más posible después de su mascota (es decir, cabello, excrementos).

Tenga en cuenta que mis padres usan una pequeña cabaña en la parte trasera de la propiedad, ocasionalmente los fines de semana. Esta cabaña está bien alejada de la casa principal, y hay una pantalla para garantizar la privacidad.

Trentham Falls, a más de 30 m de altura y la cascada de una sola gota más larga de Victoria, está a solo 2 km. Los manantiales minerales de Lyonville están a 10 km, mientras que Daylesford, Kyneton y Woodend están a 20 minutos en coche.

A un corto paseo tiene acceso a excelentes cafeterías, la panadería Red Beard y el Hotel Cosmopolitan.

Lovely cottage exceeded our expectations
We stayed at Lynden Cottage for a weekend while we attended a family wedding. We absolutely loved the cottage, it felt very welcoming and homely. The first night was quite cold and it was a pleasant surprise to find the fire set and ready to go. We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Paul for your hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay in this heritage cottage. Plenty of heating, electric blankets, airco and wood fire and a dishwasher. Plenty of hot water in the shower set in an old claw foot bath. Very cosy cottage , large garden area and minerr were s hut bbq area, undercover parking, all around verandah.. very quaint and tge dog loved it too.

Such an amazing house in a perfect location. The house has everything you need for a wonderful getaway. Trentham has so many things to offer but the house and garden is so lovely you just won’t want to leave. I cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

Wonderful Lynden! 💫
We were traveling to Trentham to go to du Fermier for dinner - we also travel with two dogs. This cottage was perfect! Walking distance to all that lovely Trentham has, great facilities and the dogs had as good a time as we did! Paul (host) was responsive, generous and professional.

Cottage with ambience close to town
We found Lynden cottage easily and the simple instructions gave us all the information we needed to light the wood heater, warm up and settle in. The lighting and paintings provided a warm cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is big and well equipped and there is an option to sit outside under the trees and bbq dinner. We were three adults and there was plenty of room and also privacy.

Our second time staying at Lynden Cottage. We love it. It's a charming, comfortable destination for a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway. And the dog loves it too with a large, fully secured yard. Arriving to a stacked fireplace ready to light is the icing on the cake. Highly recommend a visit!

Highly Recommended
Just spent ~1.5 weeks at the property in Trentham. Everything was perfect for my stay, the bed was super comfy, all amenities worked well including the internet. The yard is huge and well fenced for those with dogs. The street where the house is (and Trentham in general) is lovely and quiet, but there's plenty of options for food, shopping and of course there's The Cosmo all within an easy 5 minute walk. Paul was great to deal with and very prompt with his responses. If/when I come to Trentham again, ill be sure to look up this property first to see if it available.

Fantastic, comfortable stay in wonderfully maintained cottage
We had an awesome long weekend away in Trentham and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lindon cottage. The property was great for sunny and rainy days, both for us and our dog. Favourite features were; fireplace, old-style bath, miner's hut out back with seating / fireplace, huge yard and outdoor furniture. It was located closer to Trentham main street than we realised - not too close, but the perfect walking distance. Paul, the host, was responsive and made our stay easy. Would highly recommend.

Idyllic Cottage in the heart of Spa Country!
We had a wonderful stay for our 10th wedding anniversary! The cottage is very rustic with modern conveniences. A comfy king size bed in main and very warm with fireplace and potable heaters. Walking distance to Trentham main street and has a huge enclosed garden that our dog Reuben loved! A quiet weekend during major floods in other areas. Daylesford and Castlemaine close to drive. Fabulous eateries and gift shops. Owner Paul was terrific with communication too. Thank you!
