Wonderful Getaway
We had such a wonderful stay at Rachel and Yan’s home! Our children loved their time. Everything we needed was there for us. Lots of activities, plenty of space for our big group with multiple families with young children, truly a wonderful experience- will definitely book again!

Wonderful property with amazing hosts!

A great cottage for a getaway
The cottage is located in nice, quiet, wooded, and secluded area. This makes for a great place to kick back and relax. The addition of a sauna and hot tub really seal the deal making this a great place to spend a weekend or week.

Nice lovely cottage with lots of space and activities
This was a lovely weekend. We stayed for the family day long weekend. 10 guests. Excellent communication with the property manager before we get there. Nice and well maintained property with so much space. So many activities to do indoor and outdoor. Everything was good. The only thing that could make things even better was an extra washroom. Other than that it can't get better. We enjoyed it a lot. Already thinking of going back in summer. My kids, teenagers, said this was the best cottage we have went. Thanks.

Overall a good break from the city
Overall I'd recommend this place, just some minor inconsistencies. Upon arrival the driveway was not shoveled, thankfully we where the first vehicle to arrive and we where able to get through with the large truck. If other' had arrived first there's no way they would've been able to get up the driveway. The bathtub in the master bedroom was dirty. There was hair and some kind of soap build up in it. We had no intention of using it so that wasn't a big deal to us. The fridge had some kind of yellow liquid in the bottom drawers. We had to wipe it out before stocking it. The hot tub and sauna where amazing. Our group spent most of their time in them, it was nice and relaxing! They where clean and ready to use upon arrival. The space was as described in the pictures, big enough for a group of 10. A good place to stay if your looking to enjoy some quiet time away from the city, especially outside.

Just Amazing!
What an amazing getaway. From the moment we arrived we had a terrific experience. The cottage feels like a home and not a cold rental. Everyone loved the hot tub, Sauna, pool table and air hockey table. Full kitchen with plenty of cups and plates, nothing was missing. Communication was prompt and accurate. We received a welcome message two days before arriving and detailed everything we needed to know. We had a great time for New Years and can only image how wonderful it would be in the Summer or Spring and Fall.

Caution
Be aware property has cameras, owner did not disclose that. Some were even facing the hot tub. Apparently VRBO rentals aren’t allowed in the neighbourhood. We had random people approach us to tell us this which was annoying. We had noise complaints before 11pm which was was also annoying, we were just sitting around the fire talking. The owners showed up around 3pm on Saturday just to tell us we are cooking bbq to loud. The owners would randomly text us throughout the day and night because they saw the cameras, Reasons: 1 we did bring a dog due to us not having a sitter however we had the dog in a cage in one of the rooms at all time unless for a walk. 2 owner texted saying we did not look our age, “ we were all 30-45 years old!!”, slight compliment but didn’t feel like it, which I find extremely weird that they asked us in the first place. 3 The property allowed 12 people and we were 3 people!! until the last night we had 14 but 2 did not stay over night and drove back. Overall the property was beautiful but I highly recommend disclosing the cameras and also lowering the capacity, very hard to have ZERO noise during a beautiful day if ur property allows 12 people. Please be aware owners will call, text and show up throughout your stay. Kinda ruined our getaway despite me paying full price of for 4 days.

Great communication, property, and stay
We had a lovely stay at the cottage for a work retreat. There was an abundance of amenities to use for our short 2-day stay. The pictures don't do it justice since the property is surrounded by nature. It'd be perfect for any type of outing with your family, friends, and colleagues since it's a large space with plenty of sleeping quarters. You'll have the best sleep of your life being out in the woods. We'd happily come back in the future! Communication prior to arriving at the rental was top-notch. Raschel answered my many questions about the property in the weeks leading up to our arrival. We had a slight hiccup at the check-in process with using our check-in code, but we called the phone number provided and Yan was able to troubleshoot the issue live. It turned out the code wasn't activated, but he reset it remotely and it worked perfectly for the remainder of the trip. The property is even nicer in-person than in the pictures (despite having so many already available), so be prepared to be wowed by the beautiful property and all the great amenities. We took advantage of the kitchen and it had everything we needed (minus black pepper). A note for future travellers: bring your own toiletries since those aren't provided. Take extra time to map out how to reach the dock since it's a bit of a trek getting there (I would request a map with the trail in advance on how to get there). Bring lots of bug spray since it's right in the woods. Our feedback is being nit-picky to take the experience from a 95% happy to 100% satisfied.
