“7/10 Our stay was, for the most part, comfortable. The beds were nice and the apartment very spacious. The only things we thought needed improvement was some of the cleanliness and availability of items. The ad stated there was an electric kettle but we couldnt find one anywhere in the apartment. We opted to use the coffee pot or the tea pot, but when we opened them, they were in need of a cleaning. They were covered in some kind of orange and white residue. We ended up using a pot to boil...

“Fabulous spot to stay for a visit to WSU! Came to see my friends graduate and the price was awesome completed to every hotel in the area. Nice location - close to downtown, walkable to campus. “We were in La Crosse for a tournament. Wanted somewhere quiet but close to ball field. It was a very quiet spot, kitchen was well stocked, and beds were very comfortable. Our host was super. She gave us info on the area, bought the coffee, and even made chicken on the grill. We could relax by the dock.”

“We had booked this property in July for a late September booking. I paid over $600, received a reservation confirmation from Vrbo, numerous reminder emails and check-in information. When we arrived and entered the property via the code provided to us, the property was trashed and already occupied. The host was unresponsive, and claimed that we had not paid for the property and our reservation did not exist. I am working with Vrbo to resolve. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK HERE!”

“Enjoyed our weekend at the renovated Exchange Building. Very cool to see how the owners have maintained the wonderful character and created clean, inviting spaces. Was just me and my partner and our unit was set up well for two people. Coffee shops and restaurants very close by. Very clean and well kept space. I would describe the vibe overall as minimalist with furnishings and in-unit amenities, but it worked for the two of us just fine.”

“We had a very comfortable stay at Toddy's cabin. It was the earliest days of a temperature drop and a bit of chilly weather. We were able to quickly turn on the fireplace and warm up and felt cozy in this peaceful place. It is completely silent at night except for the occasional passing train. We hope to return some day, it perfectly met our needs for exploring the area. ”

“Our stay was very relaxing! We love this area. The cabin was very comfy and nicely decorated. Our communication with the owner was effortless and we had questions answered within minutes. The only possible negatives are the number of steps to get to the bedroom (which was a room with a very comfortable bed and gorgeous riverview) and getting onto the dock. Depending on your mobility, this could be a problem. We definitely want to stay here again!”
