The Space:
Coastal sanctuary vibes greet you immediately on arrival. All your entertainment and relaxation needs are catered to, leaving very few reasons to leave this private haven. Cleverly zoned to provide privacy to two distinctive living areas, families will love the flexibility to come together for meals and fun, or break away on comfy couches and enjoy quiet time, reading or movies (Netflix connectivity on both TV’s). The single-storey floorplan features a wide welcoming entry hall with blonde timber floors that provides excellent accessibility and flow to the main living hub. Split system air conditioning in both lounge areas, plus heating in all bedrooms and a gas log fire, provide year-round climate control
Spacious and architecturally designed, the raked ceilings and high feature windows result in abundant natural light. Dine inside at the 8-seater dining table or enjoy BBQ’s and outdoor dining by the solar-heated pool or on the south courtyard.
The well-appointed kitchen has quality stainless steel appliances, including dual ovens. Fully equipped crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware are just some of the quality inclusions you can expect to find, plus a coffee machine (with beans) and walk-in pantry. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer as well as a drying cupboard.
Three bedrooms comfortably sleep 8 guests, and all are appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels (BYO beach/pool towels). We have done all we can to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. There is a large master bedroom with a King size bed, split system heating-cooling, walk-in robe and gorgeous ensuite with a rainfall shower. Two more bedrooms with wall heaters are located at the west of the house, offering Twin Single Bunk beds (sleeps 4) and a Queen bed consecutively. The family bathroom has a rainfall shower, bath, vanity and separate toilet.

This house is located in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. Ideal for both the adventurous and those who want to kick back and relax.
All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding and golf or sitting back and if relaxing is more your thing then chose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time.
There are great cafes, bars, the Torquay Hotel and many restaurants in Torquay, plus boutiques, clothing, shoes, swimwear, books, homewares and much more.
Surf City Plaza is home to iconic surfing brands such as Quiksilver, Roxy and Rip Curl (all originated in Torquay). There are also many other iconic brands in the Plaza, or head around the corner to Baines Crescent and find a variety of factory outlets.
Torquay has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks along the Esplanade and beach front, especially the walk to Jan Juc.
As well as Torquay’s famous surf beaches there are family-friendly beaches. During the summer season lifeguards patrol at various locations including Torquay Back Beach, Cosy Corner and Jan Juc Beach. Fisherman’s Beach is not patrolled but is a relatively safe beach with a wide shallow bar.
Getting Around:
Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parks and shops. On-street parking is available, plus the driveway and double garage.
Buses to and from Torquay and Geelong (Number 50 or 51).
Closest train station 15km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Torquay is 1 hour 15 mins by car from Melbourne.
