“One of the most modern and luxurious ryokan we've ever stayed. The kaiseki dinner and the breakfast are skillfully elevated. The grounds are well kept and exudes zen. “Five ryokans spanning 3 prefectures over 8 days in search of classical beauty of fall foliage in Northern Honshu culminated at this place. It's not the most luxurious nor the best amenities, but one word to sum it up: timeless. The onsen facility is old but well maintained, however it is somehow the most memorable. “古くからあるホテル、と、そんなに大きな期待をしないで訪問したら、想定を覆す、いろいろと細部まで行き届いた、とてもいいホテルで感動しました。古いホテルには間違いないのですが、とにかくすごくどこもかしこも清掃が行き届いており、こんなに大きなホテルなのにどうやってこれだけしっかりメンテできているのかが不思議でした。お部屋は清潔そのもの。古さは全く感じなかたです。食事もおいしく、このリズナブルなお値段で申し訳ない気持ちでした。お風呂の素晴らしさはもう言うまでもないです。露天風呂最高です。立地が素晴らしくて、部屋からの眺めもとてもよかったです。東京から行ったので遠かったので頻繁には行けないですが、ぜひまた再訪したいです。”
