Amazing views
Beautiful place walking distance to town and Tonquin trail. Beautiful brand new deck (much better than the online pictures). Could use an umbrella on the deck for the sunny days as it would get too hot. . we did not miss a TV at all, but wifi would have been nice. Overall an amazing spot; would come again in a heart beat. Perhaps a more square wheelbarrow would help transport everything to the house, but the one provided was helpful.

Great Place in tofino
The House is in a Perfect Location- so luxurious to See the Ocean and the Walk through the Forest. It had everything we needed for a Family of Four. Communication and Check in/ out was Smooth and very Professional. Amenities were Great. The only thing i would Change is a Better mattress for the sleeper sofa. I can Highly Recommend this place.

Tofino cottage
What a wonderful cottage. Secluded, quiet but a very short walk into Tofino for shops and restaurants. Absolutely no surprises and the view from the deck and the cottage is spectacular. I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone staying in Tofino.

Beautiful Oceanside Cottage
This property was absolutely fantastic and all pictures and info on the listing were accurate. It was so great to have our own little escape in nature here - perfect for our family with toddlers. The view is breathtaking, the cabin is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay. If/when we make it back to Tofino in the future, we would look to stay at this property again. Highly recommend!

Perfect retreat
I loved staying in this cabin. I appreciated the minimal character of the cabin, no tv, no wifi, basic setup.. it fit in perfectly with the nature surrounding it. Would love to stay here again

Beautiful property. Your own little oasis in the heart of the town. Comfortable bed, undated bathroom. Wonderful welcome gift. Artisan soap, shampoo, coffee, tea… overall, exactly what we were looking for. We will return!!

beautiful cabin in the woods with amazing water view
we loved the place, the large balcony with incredible view was fantastic, and the whole thing was really lovely. But we were a little annoyed to find out there was no wi-fi only upon getting there (the info online says 'click here' for wi-fi info, which we assumed to mean passcode/etc, so we didn't do that until we'd arrived, and when we did click we found out it said 'no wifi'. Seems a bit like the owners were trying to hide that fact...) Since we were there a short period it was fine, but had we booked for longer we would have needed wifi and been pretty annoyed.

wounderful for relaxation
We had a great stay. Very close to town (very short walk). And at the same time a hideaway in a forrest. No Wifi was no problem, since cell coverage was ok. The cabin is perfectly cozy - even if you should hit a rainy day. One open wish remains: stairs or a path down to water level would be much appreciated.

Awesome place in Tofino
Perfect spot to explore Tofino from. Right in town but you feel like you’re in the woods. The walk down the path to the front door is delightful and the ocean view is ideal for catching the sunset. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Adventure with Weather
With unprecedented snow (for Tofino) and a 24hr power outage our trip turned into an unexpected adventure. With no heat source except electric, we are grateful to Tofino Vacation Rentals for providing us with an alternate rental for a few hours, with a propane fireplace, where we could warm up until the power came back on. After a warm lunch at the Wickinnish Inn, we roughed it out and even got some beach hikes in. This is our fifth consecutive winter stay at Golds Cottage. And the second time we’ve encountered significant snow and power outages. We love the rustic charm of Golds Cottage. But, the weather is changing in Tofino. This tiny cabin needs a propane heat source for stays year round.

What a lovely stay
When you arrive at Gold's cottage you have no idea what a secret hideaway this is. The walk up to the house is a discovery on its own. Once you get to the cottage it is a piece of paradise. At least to us. Maybe some equipment is a bit older but that is part of the charm of this house. Realy close to town but you feel like you'r in the middle of nowhere. We had a great stay en enjoyed every minute of the house and Tofino.

Gold's Cottage and Tafino Vacation Rental were Awesome
Tofino is amazing and so was this property. We would highly recommend renting a property with this company as they were accommodating and the property itself was well represented by the listing. Way better than staying in a hotel! Ocean-view deck was amazing and cabin was very cute and updated nicely to make sure the stay was comfortable.
