“The hotel was perfect and appreciate the upgrade. Wish I had booked 2 nights. Had brunch at the lobby bar but they never placed my order. Finally one attendant sorted it all out when he found out, and in the end didn’t charge me for the meal. Kind of a downer because there’s a lot of spots that people can dine at so more attention needed for training here and having staff that care because your houseguests give you priority over the neighboring eateries. “This hotel is a real vibe - from the rooftop pool, to the Friday afternoon happy hour at the rooftop bar. The location is primo - right behind Howard Smith Wharves where there are plenty of dining and drinking options. Also close to Fortitude Valley and CBD - both in walking distance. The only thing I didn’t like was not enough lighting in the bathroom for makeup application. It’s very annoying when bathrooms are designed for form over function.”
