great view but not well taken care of
Upon entering the apartment, we were concerned the screen was torn on the door going in. Then upon entering, we were very disappointed to find it hadn't been cleaned. There was debris all over the floor, couch, and tables, including old food on the floor in the kitchen and pet hair everywhere. There were towels in a heap by the washer; unsure if they'd been washed or not. I messaged the management team ASAP but didn't receive a response until the next day. They offered to have someone come to clean, but we'd of course cleaned the place ourselves prior to bringing our luggage in vs trying to find another place to stay (bought some of our own supplies). We tried using the vacuum in the suite but it emitted a horrible smell during use due to being clogged with pet hair so we elected to sweep the best we could. The floors were absolutely filthy. I'd asked for a refund on the cleaning fee, but they were 'unable to provide' and instead offered a discount if we ever stayed there again. And we definitely will not. The messages I received from management included their goal to provide us a '5 star stay'. Not even a chance at that. The view was amazing, but not worth having to clean the place ourselves.
