We really enjoyed staying at Ash Mountain for many reasons. To begin with, the setting is superb: a quiet mountain overlooking a river. The constant sound was super peaceful. Communication with Lori, the owner, was great and she helped us to ensure a pleasant stay. For example, we did not know about the harsh winter they had had at Sequoia as we do not live in the US, but she warned us about road and park closures so we could plan our days. When we arrive, we really liked the details she has for guests. You do not receive a treaty of what you are not supposed to do as in other properties. Rather, she has details for you to do the right thing: make-up remover provision, both ceramic china and disposable ones, snacks and a well equipped house with great internet reception. All in all, great place and great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone.

The hosts' hospitality was heartwarming! Notes on the check-in process and trip preparation were well appreciated. The suite is new and beautifully furnished, and one could tell that they put in much thought in every corner of the suite and in making guests' stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The suite has everything we asked for and more. Would love to return to this property when we visit Sequoia National Park again!

Owner cares but Be aware
The bed is extremely firm. It’s the firmest bed I have ever slept on. If you sleep on your side like I do, take this under consideration. The listing also says that they have a washer/dryer but they don’t. As a vac home rental owner I don’t have any problem with making changes in my listing. It’s a wonderful newly built en suite duplex nicely decorated with basic hotel room amenities, microwave and very small fridge. Not much room for prepping meals. Eating out is a better option.

This is going to be hard to beat.
This property is exactly what I was looking for when I decided to take my wife to see the Sequoias. I was lucky enough to have visited the park previously and when I started trying to plan our first vacation in way too long, I knew that I wanted to include the park at the start. The unit was exactly as advertised. I know you're probably thinking 'well it should be', and while I agree, I also travel for work almost 5 months out of the year and I can assure you that this is not always the case. The pictures you see are recent and the descriptions accurate, but they really don't do the place justice if for nothing else but being able to hear the river flow while watching the birds wake up The hosts were super helpful and communicated way better than I did or do. This made the process for getting to the property and checking in and out a breeze. They even sent a list of nearby places to eat, shop and explore that was truly invaluable. It made it seem like I had really planned every detail but all I did was book the room. Thanks for that! The room was very comfortable for the both of us, has everything that you could want and the location is probably the best in 3 Rivers. I would definitely recommend this place and especially the hosts to anyone looking to stay near SNP. Even though the wife suffers from a bit of altitude sickness when we get to higher elevations, she agreed to come back one day.

My husband and I both agree that these two are the most thoughtful hosts that we have every dealt with. They were communicative, provided great info on the area, provided snacks, two bottles of water, oatmeal, coffee, and tea. The suite was beautifully decorated and was clean. The suite had a wonderful AC unit and even a electric fireplace. One thing to note is that the mattress is very firm, so if you are side sleepers, make sure to be prepared. However, we would definitely stay here again!

Lori and John's place was perfect for our quick mountain getaway. Super easy access to the park and to town. The space was just right for my wife and me to enjoy a few nights in the area. The coffee and snacks provided were an added bonus. Communication with Lori was great, and we had no concerns or issues while in town. Would definitely recommend to any couple looking for a nice place to stay after exploring the giants.

The Ash mountain suite is a beautifully appointed oasis with a spectacular view of the mountains. The water feature and native birds at the feeders were the only sounds. Much needed after a day in Sequoia. Morning coffee outside was terrific. So sorry we could only stay one night!

Cute little suite with a view
We stayed for 2 nights at the Ash Mountain Suite. It is right off the main road that goes into Sequoia National Park from Three Rivers. Very clean and nicely kept. Host was very easy to reach for questions. The view from the room was gorgeous! There were birds at the bird feeders! Awesome place to relax after a long day of hiking in the park.

This stay was the best part of our week in Cali vacation. Everything about the location is gorgeous as well as spectacular hosts. Would recommend to anybody visiting Sequoia NP or a serene, relaxing getaway. We miss it already!
