“Great little hotel above an English Pub. Was relatively quiet after the pub closed. Great central location, friendly staff, wonderful food. No air conditioning but they did provide a couple of fans and we kept the window open so that cooled the room well enough. The beds were a bit on the firm side but overall was a great room. ”

Also, we said we are gluten intolerant and he said he would let chef know- chef coincidentally appeared in the hallway on the way to our room and said what a great choice there will be for breakfast! Really lovely hotel, run by an amazing couple Sam & Richard. Nothing is a bother for them. They go above and beyond.
Car park areas for approx 3 cars at hotel, but they also have another larger car park area essentially just around corner. Always got parked there too.
We stayed in the Deluxe Double Rooms with Ensuite with wonderful showers.

“Everything was fantastic after we got our key but what happened was it was too much noisy and in the bathrooms there was no hand wash but room wise fantastic had no problem and hopefully there was a fan there because it gets quite hot in there but overall a fantastic place to go to and I go every 1 to 2 weeks and I like that it’s in one place where I got food near me and corner shops so yeh ”

“This is a lovely old pub, so one needs to remember things may be a trifle warn. That being said, the shower was hot, the bathroom floor was heated, but grout missing in some of the floor tlies. The food served in the restaurant was AMAZING and the staff were friendly and helpful. I can't thank them enough for making my stay so enjoyable. ”
“The room was very nice it had a comfy bed hair drier fan kettle tea and coffee a microwave iron and ironing board the shower was ok and nice clean fluffy white towels as I was on my own I felt safe staying there the owner was very nice and friendly I've also stayed at the quayside hotel prefer this one over that ”

Only issue I had was the photo of the bathroom shown on Expedia was actually one of the shared ones and the en suit was completely different. Thogun it has a lovely heated mirror with blue tooth.
