I would like to give this rental a good review however, I’m extremely disappointed with the way our payment was handled. I booked this rental well in advance for my niece’s wedding on September 24th and knew there were only a limited number of places to stay that were located close to the venue. At first Matthew was very friendly until I changed my booking to stay one less day, we stayed 3 nights. I was not credited for one full night, actually only a fraction. I questioned Matthew about the amount I was credited, he then asked me to cancel my reservation and rebook, which I did. Still just a fraction of the refund. I don’t think it was handled properly. Matthew then proceeded to tell me it was not his policy but VRBO and he does not have any room as far as his cost for the rental. What does that even mean? Also, my reservation change was well before the date of 100% refund. At that point I did not want to cancel my reservation in fear that I may not find anything else. If renting this place, be sure of your dates so you don’t lose money as I did.
