“Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness.”

“Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”

“We had already expected a lot from the advertisement. But seeing the house was overwhelming. We spent an unforgettable week as a group of seven friends in a luxurious house in a beautiful setting.the only regret was that we were not able to take full advantage of the many facilities offered by the estate, such as the walled garden.”

“Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Cottage. Da das Cottage sehr ländlich und ruhig gelegen ist, muss man sich darüber bewusst sein, dass man zu der ein oder anderen Sehenswürdigkeit ein Stück weiter fahren muss. Dafür kann man jedoch einen Urlaub inabsoluter Ruhe genießen. Die Gastgeber waren großartig und wir haben uns sehr üner das Willkommenspräsent gefreut. Alles in Allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub.”

“Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...

“The Servants quarters was a perfect spot for us to stay while visiting for the Highland Games. We cooked our own meals in the well equipped kitchen and avoided the lines downtown. Clean and beautifully decorated and an easy walk to the recreation grounds, downtown, and the Festival Theater.”
