We stayed 5 nights with our 3 kids and the layout worked very well for us. There is art and chachkies everywhere, which add color and interest but also limit use of the space (and make for risk of damage with young kids). The location is great because it's a super quiet neighborhood but easily walkable to town - though a note about how to find the shortcut would be nice (we saw reference to it in the guest book but were never able to find it ourselves).
Other pros:
*Super clean!
*More than enough towels, toiletries, supplies etc
*Wood-burning fireplace, propane grill, laundry, and nice yard for kids to explore
Other cons:
*Ancient stove/oven made it difficult to cook (I would suggest replacing it - but if not, they could at least replace the knobs, for example, so you know what setting/temp it's on!)
*The wood ceiling creaks and pops very loudly, which negates the quietness of the neighborhood for a good night's sleep
*Vacasa doesn't actually know anything about the property, so good luck if you have questions
*Note that if you're relying on the twin trundle to have enough beds for everyone, you'll have to move some furniture around and get creative to get it out from under the upper twin so you can use it
Overall we enjoyed the place and it worked well for us, but it seems like Vacasa/the owners making a few little upgrades would be well worth the money/time.
