I made the reservation with VRBO and got my confirmation email from VRBO as well. My welcome information came from Iorlando reservations. No where did it say I’d be getting an email from Iorlando, so I deleted it. I get SO much spam email that I thought that’s what it was. I kept looking for an email with directions from VRBO but got nothing. I just figured we would get everything when we got to the unit. Well… there was no office to check in with. It took over an hour to get a hold of someone to give us the information we needed.
I finally get the welcome letter re- emailed to me. We get into the room drop off our stuff and leave immediately. When we get back, we see that the tv and cable box is disconnected. We set that up only to find that the remote doesn’t work. Also, if you bump the electrical cord for the tv ever so lightly, the plug fell out. I put in a request to have the remote fixed on Friday at 9pm. By 10am the next morning, we heard nothing. I put in another request and called around 11am. No one showed up until 5 pm. They did try very hard to get the remote to work but it wouldn't work. Spectrum showed up at our unit at 8:30 am Easter Sunday. The poor spectrum guy couldn't even find a person to help him find the unit. The dishes, utensils, and towels are a hodgepodge of stuff. A lot of stuff was still dirty, and plenty was stained brown. Multiple electrical sockets wouldn't hold our phone cords, they kept falling out. This unit needs a lot of updating and TLC.
