Weekend away.
Enjoyed the weekend. We are all in our seventies. Something that we believe should be attended to is to have rails added to the front step. The steps are very steep. To us, it could have been very dangerous. It would have been nice to arrive and have coffee & Tea supplied at least for one day. We found the shower floor to be very slippery on 1st use. Overall, we give an 8/10.

Beautiful old fashioned cottage
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage, it was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Well appointed with everything that is necessary, I’d like to especially comment on the cleanliness as it is so important - please continue doing a wonderful job at keeping the place spotless and well maintained. A couple of feedback points; the grounds could do with a better upkeep as the garden is overgrown and weeds detract from the beautiful setting, kitchen could do with a dishwasher even a small one draw one would be great there was also no dish rack for drying dishes very minor stuff. We loved the location and the space. Thank you for an amazing getaway!

Fantastic house
We loved this house it is gorgeous sitting up on the hill. It was very comfortable for our family and close to all the local attractions. Our host was very welcoming and there was great communication. Definitely recommend staying here. Being able to bring our dog and leave her in a secure yard outside was a bonus.

Great place to stay, dog friendly with plenty of space for them to play and fully fenced if you want to leave them to go out, very relaxing sitting on the front veranda watching over the Tambo river, Lovely old house with lots of character.

Very very charming cottage, great location, beautifully appointed - everything you need for a relaxing no-fuss weekend away. The alpacas, and the sunset from the front verandah give it the magic touch.

Perfect for dogs
Immaculately presented. Perfect for dogs with large fenced back yard. Lovely peppercorn tree for shade in back yard. Expect traffic noise especially early morning. We would love to stay again.

Awesome cottage
Very relaxing and quiet with beautiful surroundings. Short drive to everything but far enough away to enjoy the serenity in a beautiful garden with the bird life and alpacas. Hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant. Would recommend AAA+++

Lovely property, better in person. The photos don’t do it justice. The owners were super helpful and communicative, nothing was trouble. The only downside was the main road with consistent traffic made it a bit noisy. Would recommend to go back.

Country retreat
A beautiful quaint property perfectly and lovingly renovated, has to be the cleanest property we have stayed at, absolutely spotless. Everything was spot on and well appointed. Peaceful and spacious retreat
We loved the space in the house , the outlook to gardens and river and the comfy lounge room with a good tv and fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped and the host Kristy very helpful when needed.

Amazing cottage
Absolutely the cleanest stayz cottage we have been in. Just a beautiful cottage with all the mod cons you could need. Great location being half way between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance and a few minutes from Metung. Amazing wildlife - swans, rosealas, ducks, ducklings, herons, lizards, and sitting on the spacious verandah watching the boats go up and down the Tambo. Just delightful.

quintessential 100 year old cottage.
I love australian history and prefer the rustic, cosy cottage with a fire. This is a well renovated cottage. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Everything you need is there. Linen supplied. Bath too! We were warm and toasty despite -1 morning. RIver just across the road. Pub for an outing. Visit Bruthern or Buchan Caves, Lakea Entrance. sleeps 6.
