Fantastic location in the heart of Sutton’s Bay. Every restaurant is within walking distance, less one sandwich shop. Ditto the shopping, beach, marina, library, movie theater, coffee shops, book store, bakery, farmer’s market, TART (biking/walking) trail access, ice cream…Nearby, although better by vehicle (or bike), is Hansen’s - a great little grocery store, HopLot Brewing, a laundromat, and etc.! SB is a great little village with much to offer and the Legal Beagle is situated in the heart of it all.
The “drawbacks”, and mostly contingent upon timing, would be neighbors. The downstairs neighbors had 3 young boys; the neighboring restaurant, North Country, featured musicians a couple of nights that ran a little late. Parking can be tight, although on-street parking is (mostly) available, as is parking behind the building. The deck furniture wasn’t overly-inviting with some lichen/moss growing on it. Also, and my own fault, was the lack of appreciating entry was by way of stairs, only, as the unit was on the second floor.
Those repping the property (UpNorth Vaca Rentals) were very proactive initiating each step of the rental, check-in, and check-out process; ditto the cleaning lady, Karen, who was most kind and conscientious when we stumbled upon her.
