terrific stay!
This was the perfect getaway for my husband and myself. It was partially secluded and quiet, save the sounds of nature. Yet, it was just a short drive to everything we could want. The outdoor view was beautiful. The living space was clean and spacious, with charming custom woodwork. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Farm fresh eggs were a bonus. Thank you, Adam and Jen, we had a lovely stay.

Wonderful stay
The property is beautiful with a fun little playground that our 3 year old couldn't get enough of. The sunsets were beautiful and it was a nice secluded quiet area. Adam and Jen are great hosts. They were friendly and accommodating and even gave us fresh eggs from their chickens out back. Would definitely come back in the future.

Beautiful Quiet and Peaceful Property
We loved our trip to Door County. This was a great place to stay, very clean and spacious property. Plenty of kitchen space for cooking a few of our own meals and all the cooking utensils we needed. Beautiful views off the deck! Adam and Jen are wonderful hosts, even so kind as to let our daughter hand feed their beautiful chickens. Highly recommend!

Wooded and peaceful ~ 5 stars
We had such an amazing time!! This getaway was truly good for our souls. This wooded property right on the lake was EXACTLY what we needed. We loved having coffee and farm fresh eggs on the deck in the morning while enjoying the beauty of the lake and nature surrounding us (the sunsets were amazing to witness later in the day…breathtaking!) The condo was beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean and well stocked with very comfortable beds, pillows and an amazing shower. The location was perfect! It was an easy drive to everything that we wanted to explore in Door County. We will undoubtedly be back. Thank you, Adam and Jen.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The property is beautiful, well maintained, quiet, and comfortable through and through. Very clean apartment, quality furniture and beds, beautifully stocked kitchen, and quality towels and amenities. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and taking in the view. Family Vacation
We had a wonderful stay here and took advantage of all amenities! The kids were in the water every day. All four of us used the two kayaks available, which was great since the weather was a bit cool for the adults to want to swim. We ate most meals on the deck (which was peaceful), grilled, and enjoyed s’mores over the fire pit our last evening there. Adam and Jen were wonderful hosts. They were helpful in providing recommendations (it was our first trip to Door County), and let our kids play with their dogs. We enjoyed the chocolates and fresh eggs too!

We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hosts were available as needed and helpful. Fresh eggs from their on site chickens were a special treat. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows (a light blanket option would be helpful). Patio, water view & access to the grounds to sit by the water is very nice. The fire pit was enjoyable with the logs provided by Adam. Kitchen was well stocked (suggest you add some regular salt, pepper, & garbage bags). Got to all the Door County towns easily and within 20-60 minutes from this location. Some may want to be closer to nearby towns, but definitely a relaxing location.

Great location and fresh eggs in the refrig when we arrived
Three girlfriends wanted a 3 day stay in Door County. Weighed pros and cons of location and selected this venue for its good location and water views and beach. Enjoyed all parts of Door Co as day trips from this location but allowed getting in and out of Door Co quicker than staying farther north. Since two of us grew up on farms thd chickens and fresh eggs were an BIG bonus. Beds comfy. 2 Queens and a cot with an incredible gel-foam mattress. All of us extremely happy with separate beds. Everything worked like a charm. We came I. Call. Summer must be amazing with beach access and fire pit too boot.

This property exceeded our expectations. It is new, modern, open, and has everything you need. Photos don’t do it justice. We loved the deck and lake access. This was such a wonderful vacation spot. So beautiful…so welcoming…and SO clean! Peaceful and relaxing ~ with an amazing view! Comfortable home away from home
Spacious, comfortable, and clean. Plenty of space for five adults. So comfortable and relaxing, we got take out to eat on the deck and spent a night in on vacation to play games. Large, well equipped kitchen. Nice dock and kayaks to use. Host was very hospitable and made us feel welcomed, but we never felt a lack of privacy. He messaged through the site to let us know we could take out time and not rush to check out because no one was coming that day. I felt he went out of his way to be accommodating. Convenient location for activities in several towns, yet the wooded property right on the lake was the perfect vacation get away. I strongly recommend this property and this host.

Door County Getaway
Every detail in this newly built VRBO unit is high quality and well planned. Clean, modern, spacious and perfectly equipped, we enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Watch the sunset from your patio, sleep in a super comfortable bed and luxuriate in the thick towels they provided. Kitchen had everything we needed too. We highly recommend staying here and will be back.

Exceeded all expectations
Wow, this was a great stay. There wasn't anything extravagant that made this such a good stay, but it just seemed like every time we turned around there was a nice little touch that we didn't expect. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well stocked for any cooking materials. There was a coffee maker and grinder and even fresh beans to grind if you wanted. We made a few meals while we were there and there was even a grill to use on the deck. The picture makes it seem like a small deck, but it's a good size with a patio table on it. The bedroom had two queen size bed and we didn't feel cramped at all in there (2 adults, 2 kids). There is a wall mount AC unit that kept the apartment cool without a problem as well, but we turned it off and opened the windows when it got cool enough at night. Wifi was a non issue for us. Were connected if we wanted to be and streaming was fine. It's a good thing too as once you get away from the property, cell service is pretty spotty, but while in the apartment, not an issue with the wifi. Adam was an amazing host. He said hi to us and spent as little or as much time with us based on us. They have a great fire pit and one night our family made smores and invited him to join us. It was a great time hearing about the area and his stories. His two dogs are absolutely wonderful. My daughter sometime is nervous around dogs(even after having a lab ourselves), but these were the nicest little dogs, and two hours in my daughter was attached at the hip to the one dog and carrying her around like a doll. Absolutely wonderful. I don't want to ruin the surprise, but they have chickens. They stay out of your way but my kids absolutely loved that. Adam let my daughter feed them and she had to check on them every day to say hello. It was a highlight for her for the trip and I had to check her pockets to make sure she didn't have one in her pocket to take home. There is a sand bottom at the end of the dock that the kids could play at. It was a little over 5' and was great to be able to go out and play. I swam from there a few times during our trip. It was ~10-15 minutes to Egg Harbor, but the drive was easy. We always stay in Egg Harbor and didn't feel like this was too far south to still get to all the places we usually go (Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Bailey's Harbor). We got to Bailey's Harbor in less than 20 minutes for a Kayak Trip. Great location and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
