“The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. We thought we were WAY off the beaten path because of the way we arrived, only to find coming in from the other end of the road was a much closer trip into town.
