“This Lake house was recently renovated and is sitting on the banks of Picton bay. Cool breezes and lots of shade. Our Host was there to greet us. Then cottage was air conditioned and the beds were comfortable. The four of us had a very enjoyable week at this cottage/home. Lots of chairs were available as well as many outdoor games to entertain children. A+++”

“this property was beautiful and in a great location, but it was rented bc of my grand daughter's wedding was being held in Kingston. As normal we had contracted professionals come in for make up and hair etc. You can imagine the stress I was caused when.... during the middle of the reception dinner at Fort Henry I get a call demading $300 more on top of the already exorbitant costs and bc of the people coming and going. The house rules were ridiculous, for example.... .don't touch the AC,...

“We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and it was absolutely lovely! Everything was even prettier than the pictures. The hosts, Jerry and Suzie, had thought of everything we might need and provided us with a well stocked kitchen, lots of games and reading material for rainy days and lots of fun outdoor activities. We loved the location because it was nice and quiet but not too far from fun activities in Kingston, Belleville and Prince Edward county. We especially enjoyed exploring Picton...

“Beautiful area, porch and outdoor amenities were fantastic. Bedrooms were spacious and comfy. Nice large living and dining room to relax and eat. Fantastic price for such a lovely cottage. My only disappointment was that there were no towels, and the kitchen felt very bare bones. Overall though it was an excellent stay and I would absolutely come back!”

“Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. Games room was enjoyed by the younger boys/young men. Mo was excellent in communicating with us, before and during our stay....
