It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate. “We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms...

“Party of 11 hired the house for the weekend. Location was great, right on the beach. House was as described, everything you needed was here. Enough room for us all. Monika was readily available for any questions we had. Check in was smooth. Local restaurants were good, we did book in advance. Would definitely stay here again. easy”

“A great place in the nice little town of Hythe, 5min walk to the beach, 10min to the High Street, all the amenities close by.We did not miss anything in the house. First of all, the house is very well equipped: kitchen and bath with all the necessary appliances, comfortable beds, good Wifi etc. Apart from that, we loved the artwork, the colours: a great fusion of features of a traditional house and clever ideas. Very old Tesla charger. Other charger required some network membership. Not great. Good I had enough charge to make it to the channel tunnel. But this increased our trip next day in 45'”
