We stayed at Hiawatha on Star Lake for 4 nights in June 2021. Our group consisted of 14 people: 9 adults, 3 teenagers, and 2 toddlers. We had an excellent experience. Firstly, the property is accurately represented in the photos. It really is a beautiful, clean, and premium cabin with great views of the water. The house is located right on the water, and the water is clear and excellent for swimming. We have stayed at many cabins in the past and the water has almost always been an issue (murky, full of lily pads or seaweed, algae, etc.). Not the case here; Star Lake is beautiful and clear, you can see the rocky bottom through the water. The outdoor property is very nice, there is a great playground for young children, clean and well-maintained grass, a generous amount of seating /chairs, and a nice campfire set up. The deck is also very nice. There is a nice grill, which we used for almost all of our dinners. The outdoor property is also nice and flat with open space so you could play outdoor games/sports or just spread out and sit around.
Inside, the property is wonderful. It’s clean, well-maintained, and high-quality. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice, and the living areas have plenty of seating s good layout. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need, and the view from the window is great. There are also a lot of extra towels, blankets, toilet paper, and pillows provided, which is nice. It’s a great space for group getaways as there is is something for everyone and ample space. I felt our group of 14 fit nicely. You could definitely fit more people, it just depends on your sleeping arrangement requirements. Overall it was an awesome experience, and the beautiful photos represent the property accurately. 10/10 would recommend and/or return.
