This was by far the best cabin we’ve stayed in over the years of traveling. The attention to detail was fabulous. Built right, decorated right, comfortable and spotless. Quiet country setting to come back to after enjoying the park. We will definitely stay here again in the future!! Thanks for everything!

This was our favorite place that we stayed on our vacation as we drove from West Va through Kentucky to Indy. We were there only one night, but wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful house and property-decorated so nicely and spotless! We cooked dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and the porch out back is lovely.

Quiet Cabin Getaway

The cabin was exactly as depicted in the listing. I stayed for a solo trip to unwind and disconnect and this cabin was perfect! Highly recommend and I plan to return in the future!

Very peaceful and relaxing

The property was super clean/perfect. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Back porch was beautiful and had an awesome looking firepit. Extra amenities left by owner for our use thst was nice. Cabin is very old fashioned looking but all new. Great place to stay and did not want to leave

Beautiful Getaway!

Loved this property! It was a perfect get-away spot. Very relaxing. Went hiking at Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge. Communication with Jessica was always easy with prompt responses to any questions. Definitely recommend.

Very nice and clean cabin!

This cabin was extremely nice and relaxing. Communication with the host was great. Check in and check out was a breeze. My map took me right to the location. I don’t have any complaints and I do plan to return.

Quiet and Cozy

Christmas decor was cute and made it feel like home. Kitchen has literally everything you need to make a nice meal and everything is like new. Comfy bed, hot shower, very clean, and the host was easy to get a hold of. We loved the fire pit and the back porch. Made for a very relaxing weekend!

Beautiful quiet cabin

This cabin was so cozy and beautiful. The Christmas tree added so much beauty. The fireplace is gorgeous! Hostess was very friendly and responsive. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone.

Red River Gorgeous!

If you're considering booking The Briar Patch for a fabulous getaway near Red River Gorge do it, you will not go wrong! This cabin is beautiful, well maintained and appointed, and absolutely gorgeous. You can tell Jessica and John care about their guests and go above and beyond to ensure visitors have a fabulous stay. The cabin has AC, which after long hikes on hot days is such a relief. Everything was so well organized, immaculately clean, set up and ready for use. The back deck is so well laid out and comfortable, just right for a quiet retreat allowing you to be in the moment and enjoy nature. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly apportioned for what you need and equipped with modern amenities. For those that want to stay connected the wifi works great and the TV entertainment rivals any hotel. The Briar Patch was a welcome oasis for our exploration of the Red River Gorge area. We will be back and look forward to staying here again.
