While the unit does have beautiful new furnishings and is very attractive in the pictures, there is truly no way to describe the absolute junk and clutter behind the kitchen cabinets, in the laundry, bathrooms, bedrooms, closets and under the beds. There was no place to even store food we brought. Even a bottle of Tabasco could not find a home but on the counter top. Opened, dry food was not discarded. Hello Covid! What happened to all the protocols? We had to hang clothes amongst cleaning supplies and large storage totes. At no time did this feel like a vacation rental, but rather like someone had hastily departed and threw everything behind closet and cabinet doors, under beds and into corners. There were 3 wastebaskets in the master bedroom, and a kitchen sized one in the master bath! On the other side of the toilet leaning on the wall in the corner were cleaning supplies and a squeegee! The laundry closet had to be emptied to even approach the stacking washer dryer unit. I have rented vacation homes for years, and it was honestly shocking and disturbing that anyone would open their doors in this condition.
Upon arrival, there were no hand towels or washcloths but that was made right. The property management was responsive and was able to fix the living room fan that was stuck “on” as it was cool in the mornings and evenings. The bedrooms are very hot while the living room is cold, but tabletop fans are also provided if you like that sort of thing.
The grounds and amenities at The Beach Club are very nice. The location is great. Unfortunately, this particular unit is a pig with lipstick, and the experience was unlike any we have experienced. I could not recommend.
