Esta casa dúplex de 4 hab / 2 baños es adorable y está a una cuadra de la calle principal de la ciudad: Gulf Blvd. Al otro lado de la calle de Gulf Blvd. es el Golfo de México, y el acceso a la playa de la calle 18. Esta casa es segura y está lo suficientemente apartada como para sentir que se está quedando en su propia isla tropical. Hay muchos porches en ambos pisos, un puesto de venta afuera, y el patio está vallado. Está tan cerca de la playa que puedes llegar allí en minutos. Te ofrece lo mejor de ambos mundos, donde puedes tomar un descanso de la playa al final del día y relajarte en tu propio hogar.

Ok beach weekend
Overall the location was fantastic and the house was very spacious for all of us. Only complaints I had with the house was they had people there cutting trees and limbs in the yard all Saturday which made my group and I have to constantly come back from the beach and move cars around. We also couldn’t utilize the outside area because of the workers being there all day. Other issue which was resolved on our side was the listing stated pet friendly. My friends thought they had a place for their cat but it backfired so I asked the host to include the pet fee so they could stay the full time. She stated that the pet fee was only for dogs even though the listing and when you search it on maps says “cat and dog friendly.” With that being said they were only able to stay half the time.

Enjoyed the neighborhood and vegetation around the house. The floors and rugs could be a lot cleaner. Great to have the decks and other outdoor space around the house. Please note that the email sent by VRBO before check-in shows that check-out time is at 10, but in the listing on the site it says 9.

Fantastic location & great for families
Our family group of 6 enjoyed our stay here. Property is spacious and offers all you need from a home away from home. We appreciated that there were enough paper products, trash bags and detergent for our stay, unlike past other properties. Basics like oil and a few spices were also there! Property needs a little love, but has all you need for a family trip. We also appreciated the boogie boards and could have also used beach towels provided! Walk to the beach was only minutes, and if you had a huge load, there was a public beach access on the way, if carting a lot of things. Grill onsite was charcoal, so note that for prep time. Also consider, property starts on second floor so everything has to go up at least one flight of stairs to the first floor. Would definitely stay here again, and for longer!

Perfect family beach house getaway
This location could not be any better for a family with kids wanting to get so serious beach time in! We came with 2 family members over 80 and 2 under 4 and everyone was happy and comfortable! We ask several questions of the host through our out stay and she couldn't have been more responsive and accomodating. I was nervous about our first vacation with our 2 small children, but this quiet beach house that had a playhouse and everything thing you could imagine taking to the beach made everything easier!

Roomy and good location
Little confusion on which unit we booked. There are two units in this property but they are on one building. The 4 bedroom we booked is at back of the property, most of the renters also have this problem.

Very basic
Our stay was great. We didn’t intend on spending much time at the house in general due to activities elsewhere. The front door hinges were broken when we got there so be careful of that. We didn’t use the front door because of that. The house was pretty clean and perfect for what we needed it for. When you arrive MAKE SURE you go to the back unit through the gate. It’s a duplex basically. I was trying to get into the wrong place luckily no one was there. Plenty of room for kids and adults bed wise.

Great beach weekend
We had a great time here. We had plenty of bed space for the 5 of us and it was in a great location. Close enough to do Clearwater or St Pete if you like plus the walkable restaurants around it were really good, especially TJ's Italian. We enjoyed it. Thanks.

Beautiful place close to beach.
We actually had less people due to new baby in Oregon and health issues if another. The place was beautiful and we all loved it. Great hosts. And communication. A central location for surrounding areas.

Great location. House needs some work.
The house is photographed well, omitting the issues we encountered. The house needs some maintenance. Some things are minor, but important. The vertical blinds in the master bedroom are missing many slats. So, the sun shines in early in the morning (making it difficult to sleep), and there is no privacy from neighboring houses (which are very close). The master bathroom door does not fit. A folding closet door has replaced a properly fitting door, leaving many gaps. Privacy is limited at best. There was an issue with the laundry when we arrived, so we were not able to get into the house at time of check-in. The master bedroom TV was not usable. The location is great, and the house has potential, but some of the issues I listed were included in reviews dating back to 2019, so they do not seem to be a priority.

Location is AMAZING!
First and foremost, this location is amazing! You have everything at your fingertips, including an easy walk to the beach. IMPT: This is the REAR unit of this property which is not mentioned in the description. When we arrived, I walked into the front door and walked into someone else’s place while they were there. Luckily, they were nice about it. This is a very spacious 4 BR home with close proximity to restaurants, a beach, a trolley, Pickleball, and a playground. It’s great for kids and families. It's a wonderful walking neighborhood and biking area. Lucy and her family were responsive and tended to major items needing repair or attention. Thank you! The property needs some basic maintenance, but other than that it is a comfortable, generous, lovely space to spend time in.

I would recommed this property!!
The only problem we encountered is that there are 2 properties in one. It wasnts disclosed that the property was the back entrance and it took a little while to find that entrance. But all and all it was a great stay. Would suggest this rental. It was cold when we went but it was 2 blocks from the beach and 10 min drive to clearwater pier.

Major Updating needed
Overall location is awesome, But the house needs major updating and repairs. Beds needs new mattresses Shower upstairs safety hazard door does not shut Refrigerator needs updating Light for the parking area need more light, safety and walking. Better management on the property, Never respond for emergency We arrived and did not get keys for 2 hours. unable to reach Host. Tv remotes dd not work.

do it . come here
owner pays attention to detail eg there was enough dish soap washer soap bags etc to last 4 days and so no special shopping needed.most owners are stingy with towels. She was not for sure.. The house might be a bit older bit it was roomy and very comfortable. being a five minute walk from the b each was a plus.And there are countless places to eat up and down the room really close by . I know some others if I recall have complained about wear and tear issues.. they are minor .. don't worry..We likely will return next year which should say it all ... oh btw our new puppy loved the yard..

There are pros and cons to this listing
This listing is just a short walk to the beach, which was great. Bring your own chairs and cart. There are lots of beach towels, though. The house itself could use some work. The appliances in the kitchen are old and broken, but they are usable. The rug in the living room needs a major cleaning or replacement. The blinds are missing slats. The floor in the upstairs bathroom needs to be recovered. Although it is listed to have two bathrooms, the one upstairs can only be accessed through the master bedroom, so if anyone is in the bedroom, you won't be able to use it and will have to go downstairs.

Good Property Close to the Beach
We enjoyed this property! We were two families staying together so overall it fit our needs. The place is spacious and was clean. I really enjoyed that they had baby toys in the closet and that they had Netflix and such on the main TV! For the price for the size and proximity to the beach I’ll give it 5 stars. The house definitely could use some maintenance, but overall nothing too concerning!

Lots of neglect
We had booked and paid in full over a year prior to our stay. As we were driving from PA to FL we received a message from the owner, that the house had been overbooked and we were "lucky" it was only for four days. We had adult children/grandchildren flying in and with nowhere to stay. The owner blamed VRBO but we were told by VRBO that the owners take care of booking. Either way, we were without a place to stay. Everywhere was booked due to snowbirds, spring break and biker week. The night before we were due to check in, (after dealing with this for 6 days 3-4 times a day) VRBO finally stepped up. There are really no toys/games, many VHS tapes but no player. There are no blankets and we had to purchase some. Kitchen was not well stocked. Outside deck is missing posts that a 2 1/2 year old could easily have fallen thru and table is stabilized with a lego! No vacuum, no ironing board cover... Washer didn't spin/drain most of the time, refrigerator shelves were broken, and blinds in master bedroom were missing so many slats that you had to dress in the bathroom. This house is spacious and in a good location but very much needs maintenance and deep cleaned. It was a great size for the 5 adults and 2 children and the home could be beautiful but seriously needs work.
