Place is great for 6 people… with a pool and right on the beach. Our problem was more with the rental company and/or owner. Not sure who we spoke with but their level of customers service was unacceptable… especially for the price.
It started with the cleaning service being in the unit when we arrived… and three hours afterwards! She tried explaining how she was “running late” and how we should come back. She went on to explain the rental company was to blame because it’s too much work for her. She was very nice but we were there to relax, not to be therapists.
* The unit is also in need of some TLC. Screws falling out of stools… crumbs in the chair/sofa cushions… dirty/stained towels… and lots of other details that no one is addressing. About the towels… we washed every towel ourselves (they were that disgusting) and ended up calling for complete replacement as no one was willing to use them. They said they would drop off new towels… and they did so on day 3. Sorry, not acceptable for a relaxing vacation.
* The main balcony where we collectively hung out was filthy. The tiles need to be power washed… tables/chairs are gross… it’s as if the entire outdoor area has been neglected for years.
* When we addressed these issues to the rental company/owners, they urged us not to leave a negative review and gave us $100. Sorry, that’s not how you handle situations like this. I really hope they get their act together because the space is great. Good luck… to you and them!
