Esta propiedad BEACHFRONT de dos pisos y medio tiene todas las comodidades modernas que encontrará en su hogar, entre las que se incluyen varios televisores, reproductores de DVD, Wi-Fi gratis, equipo de música, una cocina bien equipada con encimeras de granito y todos los electrodomésticos básicos, azulejos pisos en todo, un baño principal con bañera de hidromasaje, grandes porches frente al mar cubiertos, una ducha al aire libre y una parrilla de carbón estilo parque.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio con vista al océano con camas Queen en las otras dos habitaciones. Además, la sala de estar tiene dos sofás para dormir tamaño Queen.

El hogar es un ambiente para no fumadores y amigable para perros (permitimos hasta 2 perros solamente, de menos de 45 lb con aprobación previa y por un cargo adicional). Toallas de playa, sombrillas y sillas de playa disponibles!

Abiding Place se encuentra dentro del área de 'Gulf Beaches' de St. George Island. Esta área se extiende 2 millas al este y 2 millas al oeste del centro de la isla. Short but sweet
We’ve stayed at this property before and loved it. Unfortunately we only got to stay two nights due to hurricane Helene, but the property was clean and we enjoyed the time we got to spend there. Hope to return soon.

Wonderful Spring Break

Anniversary trip
My wife and I stayed for a week for our Anniversary trip. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to get started, and for cooking when we stayed in. We loved the beach front location and can’t wait to return.

Just what the doctor ordered!
We made last minute reservations for a quick family getaway after my mother-n-law's funeral, and our escape to Abiding Place was wonderfully healing! It was such a bright, happy beach house and the location was perfect! We are planning on making it yearly trip! Thank you!!!

Great Stay On The Beach @ St. George
My wife and I enjoyed our brief stay. The house is “as advertised”…clean, nicely decorated and in good shape. It’s conveniently located near the center of the island. All in all very pleasant. A couple of relatively minor and easy to address issues: 1. We could not get the ice maker to stop making ice, so the freezer had to be emptied every couple of days. 2. The front door to the house does not seal shut so it whistles when the wind blows. 3. The Wif-Fi needs to be upgraded, even with just two of us and a few devices, it was hard to stream on movie. Nonetheless, this is a nice house and has a great location.

This property is exactly like the online pictures! Right on the beach and a short walking distance to most things on the island. The property was clean, stocked, and easily accessible. The chairs setting out on the deck were nice quality and made relaxing on the desk a pleasure. During our stay a light bulb was out and the property owners called to see if we needed it fixed. Overall a great place to spend a nice vacation. Will definitely be going back!

Awesome Place!
We had a great time at Abiding Place. The location is perfect for riding bikes and golf carting to all the local restaurants and shops. The view from the living area was breathtaking! Can't wait to visit SGI again!

Absolutely LOVED our time in St George
The rental was one of a few dozen adorable "pencil houses". The 3 levels of deck facing the ocean were an absolute treat! We loved that the rental was pet friendly and that the owners included a gate inside as well as a gate on the deck to help corral the pups. Our kids loved the beach gear that had been left by previous families. The location was fantastic and we truly enjoyed this beautiful island. Would absolutely recommend this location!

Convenient, fun getaway with the family and pup :)
Abiding Place is excellently positioned, looking directly at the beach with just a short stroll over it's own personal boardwalk to the sandy shores. It is also within walking distance to several restaurants and stores - once we arrived, we simply strolled around the island to go to dinner at all the dog-friendly restaurants. It is a three-level home, so beware those who struggle with stairs. The home was generally in good shape for being a rental on the beach, but everything felt just a little damp. That may be hard to avoid. We did have a couple of hard thunderstorms and one of the windows in the master bedroom (which we never opened) leaked a LOT of water. Just FYI if the owners see this! The kitchen and main level were very nice and well-stocked. The best things were - we got to bring our sweet pup to the beach for the first time, stay right on the water, and she played and ran like it was her happy place! We even got our two teens in on the action. That is all totally worth it :)

Location location location
This is the perfect place with being steps away from the beach and a great view. Also it is a 5 minute walk to Sparks and Son Grocery store (highly recommend and nice folks). Also I would recommend Paddy’s Raw Bar which is also 10 minute walk. Everything is walking distance that you need at your stay. The townhome has plenty of room and very clean.

Right on the gulf. main level porch elevated for wonderful view. Privacy screen helps with very close neighbors. Bring your own skillet if you want to eat in. Lots of stairs.

Love the location and the property - hope to come back
Just like pictures showed. Perfect location, central to all we needed and close hop over to Appalachicola. The most dog friendly town I've ever seen. Beautiful beach with low crowds even though we were there just prior to holiday. A bit of sand around but that's to be expected in a beach spot. Very roomy in the living space. Easy beach access right down the catwalk. Parking excellent. Great decks and views. Coffee pots and ice maker worked well as did blender. Toaster iffy. Master tub had slow drain. Washer and dryer worked great. Pillows could be replaced but beds slept well. Be sure to bring extra paper products and trash bags. Good storage under decks for beach items with a few extra there to share. Convenient hose for rinsing as well as outdoor shower. Piggly wiggly express ok but big pig across the bridge better. Bring what you can with you. Did struggle a bit with the remotes to a couple of tvs and wifi a bit spotty at times. But I would definitely abide here again in the future. Even though we could hear neighbors when out on decks, all were friendly and we had a wonderful time. Probably the best place we have ever stayed really.

Fantastic experience. Perfect location. No complaints. Except for one; it's important to note that all these properties are in a row with little room between them. Decks are no more than 30 yards apart. The first six days were divine; got up early before the rest of the family, went out on the deck, and had coffee and breakfast. Read for hours. Napped. If any neighbor was out on their deck that early, they were very hushed. It was quiet and peaceful. On the last morning, I did the same, except an extended family moved into the unit beside ours and gathered on their deck; they were very loud and made virtually no attempt to keep their voices down. I could hear every word of their conversations, exclamations, plans, praises, and complaints. Country music, too. I was happy that I wasn't staying another week with those people right next door, only thirty yards away. I felt bad for the folks who would be moving in that day after we checked out. It's a crapshoot as to who stays next to you for your chosen days. This was a wonderful unit for my family. Just something to consider when you choose to rent in this row of identical rentals.

Beautiful Condo, great location!
We have stayed here multiple times, once in a Tropical Storm! This time, the weather was beautiful. We love that this place is an easy walk to Blue Parrot, Paddy's Raw Bar, and Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream, but still is right on the beach. Good value for the price. Would stay again.
