Sunset Dreams lived up to wxo
Sunset dreams was an amazing property. The house was immaculate and nicely redone. Nothing beats the outdoor area. We spent many nights on the deck watching the wildlife and enjoying the sunset. We also saw a manatee a couple of times. If you were looking for a relaxing property, this would be the one for you! The house accommodates many comfortably. Would recommend this house!

Family reunion
Our family really enjoyed our stay. The separation of the bedrooms allowed plenty of privacy. The kids loved the pool. We loved watching the sunset from the great deck and several of the guys even caught fish off the deck. The house worked great for our family. The house was very clean with one exception. The ceiling fans in the living room need a thorough cleaning but I would definitely recommend this house!

Great Location
Sunset Dreams is in a great Location and close to many restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed the Beautiful views from the spacious deck. The home is large and accommodated our family of 11 easily. The floor levels change throughout the house so you need to be aware of your step so you do not trip and fall. The house is old and some areas have been updated as you can see by the pictures online. The swimming pool has not been updated and needs to be resurfaced. The upstairs apartment also has not been updated. We had a fun time but were disappointed with the overall maintenance of the house.

Great house for big families
My family of 12 loved everything about this big house! With ages ranging from 10 to 70+, there was something for everyone. Plenty of room to spead out. And the upstairs suite offered some privacy. Kids loved the pool, and the adults loved the huge deck where we could hang out, share a meal, and watch the wildlife. Speaking of wildlife, if you enjoy birdwatching, you won't find anywhere better. A highlight of our trip was having a daily front-row seat to dozens of wood storks, egrets, herons, and more. It was thrilling to see those birds in their natural environment while we enjoyed a drink and watched the beautiful sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I'd highly recommend this property to anyone with large families who want a large yet cozy place to relax and enjoy St. Augustine.

60th birthday celebration
Great property for large family gatherings. Great space and lots of privacy with the 5 bedrooms. Beds slept great which is a huge plus when traveling. Outside area was a great way to relax and enjoy time around the pool. The deck and views were also great. Spent every night out watching the sunset. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for our wedding week vacation
Placement of bedrooms/ baths gave everyone a nice private area. We used the large family room with powder room access daily. Pool and deck perfect. Especially loved bed swing for napping. The different floor levels took a bit of getting used to though. Location great for Lightner Museum wedding, beaches and lighthouse too!! Would recommend to everybody!! Thanks so much!

Family Celebration
Perfect house for a large family! The rooms with ensuite bathrooms were very comfortable and convenient. Plenty of communal spaces that we enjoyed together, but also comfortable spaces that were private in case we needed time alone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Loved the ping-pong table and corn hole set. The back deck was the best part. In the mornings, we enjoyed watching and hearing the variety of birds that visited. At night, the sunset views were amazing! The neighbors were friendly and we just loved the St Augustine area for local food and fun activities. Will chose this property again when in the area!

Cousins’ Trip / Annual Get-Together
Stayed Mon. afternoon 4/8 - Fri. a.m. 4/12/24. Beautiful property, well-stocked, and well-maintained. Convenient location. The 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 2 half baths gave our group of 7 adult women plenty of room to gather and all be together or enjoy quiet solitude if we wanted. We took advantage of the well-stocked kitchen and large kitchen dining table for several of our meals and just sitting around enjoying the lively conversations and laughter we so look forward to every year when we get together. Although we did not personally end up using the pool we spent time both eating at and lounging around the large table outdoors in the covered part of the deck and even enjoyed sitting on the open part of the deck around the fire pit one evening under the stars. Nice sunsets…especially picturesque the one evening when the creek ended up being at high tide. Two caveats: *If anyone in your group plans to use the black futon in the one sitting area for sleeping, please note it is pretty much equivalent to a twin size bed and is *hard*. I found it more comfortable to sleep on the couch right outside that area in the large living room. (Its own half bath was very handy.) *You will want to watch your step as there are several places throughout both the house and the deck area that are at a step-up, step-down level or have a little lip or edge. Nice design element adds to the beauty and character of the house; just be aware of your footstep! Thank you for wonderful wk!

Family beach trip
We went to St. Augustine last year but decided to check out a new property this time and was NoT disappointed. This home was a great location and fun for the whole family. The rooms were large and soundproof. I think we found our annual vacation home!

Perfect family get away
Beautiful house with a lot of amenities! We had 14 in our family with our kids and grandchildren. There was so much to do with the pool, ping pong, games and fishing! Lots of space so everyone felt comfortable! Very clean and the apartment upstairs was the perfect “quiet” space for Grandpa and Grandma! Will definitely be back!! The deck with fire table was beautiful along the river!

Nature at its Best
A.mazing‼️ Best Host Ever, very welcoming and accommodating! The beds are comfortable and we learned our adult daughter is a ping pong wizard. We LOVE the firepit and seeing woodpeckers, Roseate Spoonbills, and herons. I also heard an owl. We played games at the dining room table, watched movies on the big comfy couch, played ping pong, and sat out by the fire. The thirty something year old ladies with ALL thier luggage LOVED the master by the front door. They could easily load in thier luggage and loved the huge walk in as they brought their entire wardrobe for three nights. The home is so close to town and our guestswere even thinking about rebooking the home before we left.

Wonderful for Large Groups
We spent Thanksgiving here with our extended family. The home is massive and lovely. Everything is updated nicely and there is lots of room for everyone to have their own space but also be together. The backyard is very peaceful. Neighborhood is very friendly. Everything is nearby. We loved walking to the Alligator Farm and the Lighthouse. Downtown is just a short drive away. We loved having our dogs with us too! Would definitely stay here again!

Just because we love to travel
I’d have to say that this was one of the best Vrbo’s that we have stayed in! The rooms were absolutely awesome and perfectly spaced for privacy. Each room had an assigned bathroom which is very important to us! The location was close to the beach and downtown. We utilized the fire pit quite a bit in the evenings. Communication with the management was smooth and very professional. Overall, this was the perfect place for us (four couples) and we enjoyed every minute of it. We will most definitely book this location again in the future!

Absolutely Perfect
Wonderful property and plenty of space for all of us (7 people) to spread out and have our own space. The pool and deck on the tidal creek we great for relaxing days with plenty of wildlife and fishing! Silly things that matter - the sofa in the TV room and the dining table were big enough for us all to sit comfortably :) The upstairs "suite" was perfect for me and my husband (since we are the "oldies" that go to bed early) with a full kitchenette, dining area, sitting area, and a balcony for early morning coffee overlooking the pool and marshlands. The property is in a perfect location, close to all the attractions but not too close if you know what I mean. If you are debating about renting Sunset Dreams, do it!

Pleasant Home with Salt Pool
Wonderful home, plenty of space, great location. The home has everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen had supplies, utensils, pots, pans, big fridge, great layout. The laundry room is huge and also supplied detergent. The rooms are very accommodating, all but one have their own bathroom. All beds had brand new linens and brand new towels in the bathrooms. Upstairs is it’s own house practically, with a whole kitchen setup and lounge area overlooking the creek. The location is ideal, it’s in a great neighborhood around a beautiful area. You can walk to the Alligator Farm. There’s also a garage you can park in which was nice for a rainy day to load up a baby. The house itself is all tiled/wood/concrete. Outside, the deck to the pool can be a little hot in the middle of the day but there’s shade at all times around the deck due to the roof so it’s mostly easy to avoid the hot spots. The pool is different from most I’m used to, being the sides around kind of slope instead of a ledge to the depths; we liked it because we could float around while holding a baby still and kind of climb the edges. Being close to the marsh, we thought bugs may be an issue, but they were practically non-existent so it was very enjoyable to be out at sunrise and sunset looking at the beautiful vista. Lots of wading birds including rosette spoonbills and wood storks. Check in was very easy, the whole process is done through iTrip instead of directly through the owner but went smooth.

Best house for a generational family vacation
Great grandma, grandma, mom, dad and kids ages 2 - 17 The layout of the house provided everyone with space to spread out The boys spent many hours fishing off the deck and caught a wide variety of fish and even a huge crab The pool provided the girls plenty of relaxing time And bonus there is an amphitheater near the house so we are able to sit around the fire pit and listen to the listen to the Jason Mraz concert All the bathrooms were spectacular and the beds comfortable We all enjoyed the house and will definitely consider another family get together there next year!

Fantastic Home
We had our annual family reunion in St. Augustine Florida and stayed in this fantastic home for a week. So many wonderful things about this home and first off, the location is great. It's a 6 minute drive to downtown area and 10 minutes to the beaches which is very ideal for all the sightseeing. Also, the Alligator Farm is a 10 minute walk from the home which is something to expierence. There's lots of updates to the home and was spotless upon arrival. There was a minor issue with the AC and they went above and beyond to remedy the situation. The views from the back deck are spectacular and with seeing all the wildlife it will be something I will always remember. Don't hesitate to book your stay here on your next vacation to St. Augustine, FL.
