Owner watching.
This was for our annual family gathering. All was well till Saturday after a beach excursion. We came back to use the pool. The pool had a water fountain that the grandchildren found fun. That afternoon the owner showed up at the door and told us to turn off the fountain we were using too much water. My adult son asked if we violated house rules and was told we were not. The next night I was texted around 9pm asking that the pool flood light be turned off as it could bother the neighbors. There was no home directly behind us so I’m not sure would have been bothered. That’s when it occurred to me the owners were watching the property. It made the rest of the stay a little unnerving. Very nice place, great pool, and beach location great. But we did not like the fact we were being watched. That’s the reason for the low rating.

Amazing home near the beach
The house was beautiful and clean. A short walk to the beach and it also had a beautiful heated pool. Two rooms were separated by a Jack and Jill bath room but each had their own sink and mirror! This was great! The property managers were extremely quick to respond and this was very helpful considering we arrived the day after the hurricane came through. Everything was perfect.

Summer Vacation with Family
My family gathered from across the United States and Brazil to enjoy beach time, historic St. Augustine, and even a day at Disney. This house was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and across the street from the beach. Our boys ages 8-12 loved the downstairs game room. The whole family spent every day in the pool! Thank you for such an amazing house for an amazing experience.

Family Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Very quiet part of the beach. Large pool great for a break from the beach. First floor bedroom just off of the pool probably best for older kids or adults since it is accessible either from the pool or through the garage. We would definitely consider going back.

Wonderful stay!
We had an extended weekend getaway with friends. The house was very nice, clean and very well equipped. Any questions or concerns that came up were answered in a timely fashion by the property manager. Location was awesome, close to beach and downtown St. Augustine. I don't think you would be disappointed in this property.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It worked great for our visit with our children and grandchildren. There was plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor pool area was a big plus.

Relaxing week
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay for Spring Break! We were a group of 3 families and had plenty of space to sleep and spread out. We were pleasantly surprised at how convenient it was to walk to the beach and the view/sounds of the ocean from the upper balcony might have been the best part. The location was wonderful... quiet and no traffic... but an easy drive to downtown and the busier areas. Everyone enjoyed the putting green in the back yard and they created their own "course" for a competition. The beds were comfortable and we all left wishing we didn't have to go back to work/school. The communication with the owner/manager was top notch.

Spring Break 2024
Loved our stay at Butler Beach. The house was as described. The functionality of the home worked perfect for our group of 8, allowing for gathering but also separation when desired. The home was clean, and the kitchen had everything required. The property manager was great to work with and responsive. The pool was perfect and heated as described. You can't go wrong with this property, location to beach, quiet neighborhood and great home.

Lots of undisclosed rules
I will start off by saying that the house was amazing. The property had everything we could ask for, including games, plenty of lounging space, a putting / chipping area and a large pool. You will find rules on just about every wall of the house. One of which is that the back yard is CLOSED from 10PM to 9AM. Completely understandable if you don’t want people making noise outside at night. We are adults and we are homeowners, we know how to keep it down. On the first night, I received a message from the owner asking us to make sure we turned the back light off it’s “shining into the neighbors houses”. I found it a little strange, but I went to the back and turned the light off because we were already inside at that point anyway. Day 2 was a great start to the day in town, we came back to the house around noon and the ladies wanted to enjoy the pool and get some sun. Great, except they were kicked out because the pool guys showed up. After they left, we finally got to enjoy ourselves outside. 6:20PM I received a text message from the owner saying the music is too loud. Now, I’m not looking at my phone because we are outside having fun. 3 minutes later another text, then a call, then suddenly the owners wife just shows up in the back yard telling us to turn down the music. It was still daylight. Turns out they live right behind the property. Law enforcement should’ve come over and told us we were too loud, not them. Be prepared to have very minimal privacy on this property.

Great stay just outside of St. Augustine
This was a great house with plenty of space for 5 adults. It is just a short walk to the public access path to the beach and only about 15-20 minutes away from the main St. Augustine/St. George St. area.

Great house!
We rented the house because we had a bunch of adults gathering to celebrate our friends getting married. All of the rooms had King beds and the views from outside were great. We loved the backyard and the guys especially loved the putt putt during down time. Great house and would def stay again.

Spacious property close to beach
The house is very spacious with a large pool and multiple decks for sitting and/or having a meal outside. Close walk to the white sand beach. Easy check-in and check-out process. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful View
This property has awesome views of the ocean and wonderful upper deck for the most amazing sunrise!!! The house is very clean and well stocked. Nice large pool. 5min easy walk to beach access. At night we enjoyed the fire pit and then the comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. Short drive to the historic district. Would definitely stay here again

Awesome house here. Great views of the ocean on the front side. Pool and putting green out back were a lot of fun! The house was very clean and comfortable and David and Patti were very helpful. All around great experience!
