Bottomline is that if you have a big family or group, there are 6 bedrooms and lots of spaces to spread out, not to mention lots of parking. Location is easy walking distance to The Ice Plant and St Augustine Fish Camp, both great. We had a wedding reception at The LIghtner Museum, so it was a great location for a lot of family.
The property is definitely unique and quirky. It is one of the old houses that many people are buying and restoring in the area. There are a few that looked abandoned when we walked around and others brand new. We always felt safe. This place could use a good exterior paintjob, but inside was clean and had kitchens and closets that were packed with everything you need, from irons and ironing boards, to every utensil, coffee maker, coffee, filters, blow dryers, pillows, blankets, etc. The oddities, like the right angle sink in the upstairs kitchen, paint schemes, some strange small room areas, just make it a place you will remember. Nice patio out back and front and back upstairs porches. We had a great time.
