We were fortunate to spend 10 beautiful days here, and could not be happier with every aspect of our stay. The location of the house is perfect: tucked down a private peninsula far from busy roads, but still close to markets and shops so it was easy to hop out and get anything we needed. The grounds are expansive - lovely big yard, a lookout point complete with hammock, and our own private rocky beach. When we first explored around we couldn’t believe it was all for us! The house itself feels like a true home. It’s spacious and comfortable, and we loved being surrounded by such an impressive collection of art. And the kitchen! It has everything you’ll ever need and more. It really felt like we were borrowing a good friend’s place for the week. The owner Steven was clear in his communications, and always very responsive and kind to us. We really can’t say enough good things about the whole experience. Highly recommend, and we look forward to returning!

Magical Maine

I have stayed in a large number of properties and have rarely left with review, but felt that I had to for this particular one. This is the most beautiful and well taken care of property in which I’ve ever stayed. Everything is even better than this pictured in the advertisement. All of the construction, materials, and furniture are of high-quality, not the typical construction grade quality which we have typically experienced in most such rentals. The beach that it is nearby is easy to kayak from and ONE can even swim in the only somewhat cold waters. Well, it is not immediately in a town you can drive to the most popular lobster roll location within 10 minutes And be in a small and cute village within 10 to 20 minutes. The landscaping is also creative, artistic, and captivating. Every day we would walk around the gardens, walk along the shore, and in the evening with a fire in the fire pit as we chatted. The host is very kind and good at staying in touch but does not bother you either and you and your family can feel comfortable having your privacy in a beautiful home, and a beautiful setting, with beautiful scenery.

An exquisite three day break in mid-coast Maine

This property is easy! Easy check in and arrival and such a lovely spot! Easy to love!!! A private oceanfront peninsula with outdoor activities and a very well stocked kitchen and home. We could not have been more pleased. A beautiful interior curated with care and easy to settle into, with multiple reading chairs and nooks and a great library! Outdoor seating was comfortable and plentiful with attractive and comfortable cushions. We had a wonderful time. We felt like we were at our own private resort and we were! Thank you so much! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would love to return.

My family had an incredible time here! The pictures did not do it justice! It was immaculate and owners did not just decorate with cheap, durable furnishings. Everything was first class and beautiful! Owner was incredibly attentive and responded immediately when asked anything.

This house is a slice of heaven. This is our third stay, and we love it more every time. There’s no way to explain the experience, and how well Steve has addressed every detail of the property and the house. And he is a wonderful host, we have gotten close with. we will never stay anywhere else
