Peaceful and Quiet to stay and Unwind
Very clean and inviting . Kitchen was well equipped and the appliances worked well so food preparation was easy. The beds were very comfortable. We came home feeling refreshed.

Cozy and inviting home
This house is very homey and welcoming. We enjoyed a ride on the Potomac Eagle Railway and the location of the home was perfect, just a short drive away. The house was spacious and very homey. We especially enjoyed the fresh produce from the garden left by the owners.

Great stay at a cozy home!
home was clean and comfortable. Communication was great with owner and he was very attentive to our needs when we had a water issue. Everything was corrected and he followed up the next day to make sure we were good. Overall, this house is perfect and made us feel at home.

Excellent stay!
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the property. We rode the Potomac Eagle Scenic railroad and the location of this house is very convenient to the train station. Very clean and quiet house and the back porch swing was fantastic. It brought back memories of my grandparent's house The only minor recommendations I have is providing a couple of more absorbent dish towels for drying dishes and also some Kleenex tissues. We hope to return someday.

Birthday Celebration
My 5 siblings and 2 spouses spent two nights in this lovely home to celebrate my oldest brother's 78th birthday. Actually only 4 of us stayed at the property but we all celebrated there. The home is very comfortable and user friendly. Everything was just as it appeared online. Jessica was very easy to deal with and attentive to our needs. We all would definitely go back for another visit.

Perfect for a quiet getaway
The location was great since it was off and major road sand on a street eth very little traffic. The surrounding area had no light pollution which made stargazing very pleasant. The host left clear, easy, instructions for check-in and check-out we well local recommendations. We found the house exactly as described. Would definitely recommend and intend to use in the future

I rented this home because 6 of us (3 generations) had tickets for the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad. It was the perfect place to be close to our activity but also be able to enjoy the firepit and making memories around the dining room table!

Just what we needed!
This was a wonderful house in a very quiet location. Large yard with a nice firepit that was great for sitting out and star watching. There's a large vegetable garden and we made dinner one night with fresh vegetables from the garden - it was really nice. The house was nicely furnished and very cozy. The picture above the fireplace is amazing, telling the history of the house what it went through. We're very glad we selected this property and would recommend it!

Private & Cozy Stay In West Virginia
From checking in and checking out we had great communication with the host. Overall, the house was very cozy and beautiful from the inside out. The house was very clean and well decorated. We were close to the town of Romney and had a trip on the train. We ultimately fell in love with West Virginia and our stay. We will definitely book again!

Good stay
Great, best ever in fact, communication from the host. Clean, and nicely renovated. Only disappointment (minor) was the fireplace in the living room is currently out of service. Couldn’t find a corkscrew but luckily there’s a Dollar General store not far. Firepit out on the yard works was nice to sit around when the nights weren’t too cold.

Lovely Stay at the Mountain Getaway
We came to WV from Northern NJ to visit my mom the next town over. The house was in a great location for us. The owners left a very nice assortment of fruits and veggies freshly picked from their garden with a sweet welcome note. House was clean and equip with what we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the kayaks in the river and antiquing nearby. We hope to return soon. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home & stories.
