Owner tried, but missed the mark
Overall the house was okay, you can tell the owners tried with the renovation, but the upkeep is terrible. As soon as you opened the door, the smell of mildew was overwhelming. You could see the mold on the door frame and the floor throughout the entire house warped to the point where you felt like you were walking in a fun house, tripping on it constantly. There was no trim on the floor between the hallway and two of the bedrooms and the two areas were different heights so you banged your toe every time you walked through the doorways. The air barely came out of the vents in 2 of the bedrooms. The plants along the walkway were completely overgrown making it impossible to walk up the walkway without pushing limbs out of the way. There were rusty nails and razor blades in the driveway. The outdoor grill had not been cleaned so when we lit it, it actually caught on fire!!The front door stuck so badly you could barely open or close it. The pool was filthy when we arrived and even after the cleaners came, it was still gritty and dirty. I feel bad to say all of these negative things, but you would think that if you are going to charge almost $500 in Host fees and service fees, you would deliver top quality. You can tell that there was great effort made in the remodeling of the house, the design is gorgeous and in photos it looks amazing, but whoever is responsible for the upkeep is severely slacking. Again, I feel bad because you can see the attempt, but it was definitely a miss.
