Perfect stay
As soon as we waked in we said, "We're booking this again." As a tourism marketer, a life-long Floridian, and someone who've been staying in private accommodations for over 20 years all over the country, I can tell you this is an exceptional stay, an exceptional property in an exceptional location. It's a beautiful house that celebrates Florida, located on a crystal clear river running from Weeki Wachee Springs. The house is perfectly outfitted with everything you'll need (and a bit more). And the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. The location is perfect, and the house, both upstairs and downstairs, is extremely relaxing. Plenty of entertainment as first-time kayakers and boaters pass by. Even though you're out in the country, there's plenty of good restaurants nearby (and a store or two if you forgot anything). Evenings are completely quiet. And a trip of the crystal clear river won't be forgotten. We brought a small, motorized inflatable and went up to the springs and out to the Gulf, but you can rent a boat near by. Kayaks are on property. We also brought our off-road bikes and went through the nearby Weeki Wachee Preserve. Overall one, terrific stay that combines alot of fun and games with complete relaxation.
