“We loved our brief stay at the property. The house feels warm and cozy. It was perfect to come back to after a busy I have to Alexa to Costco list Costco list day with family. I love the historic community. And we went for a long walk on the local trail. The house was clean. We did not interact with the host as they had everything set up for easy access. Be ready to climb some stairs and the shower is quite quirky. But we’d definitely stay there again.”

“We were here for just one night and this place was perfect. Easy access, clean, and very responsive host. My only suggestion is to have more security between the private room and the rest of the house, there was no deadbolt between the door and it would have felt safer as a renter of a private room to have that option. Otherwise great stay.”

“I took my 2 dogs over a weekend and even with the rain we couldn't be happier. The covered porch was perfect and it has a nice trail in the property for the dogs to explode. Would definitely come back!”

“This is a clean, comfortable and well-appointed rental. The manager was cordial and attentive. The only downside was that there was significant traffic noise that rose well above the ability of the provided white noise generator to cover it. If you are accustomed to urban traffic noise it should not be a problem. The sheets were strongly scented from washing which might be an issue for some.”

“Wonderful stay! Seamless check-in and checkout. We booked our stay initially for the Lantern Festival but also visited the Kitchen Kettle Village as suggested by our hosts David and Ester who are both very kind. We were going to visit their farm and buggy ride the following day but we were all tuckered out from exploring and the festival. (It gives us a reason to return!) Instead, we grabbed a bite at the Speckled Hen (which is also kid / family friendly) has cool playground and headed back...

“If possible i would give this cottage a 10 rating. It was not only charming, but beautiful, inside and out. The area is very picturesque and peaceful. The owners Mina, Chad and Zoey, are wonderful hosts. We didnt miss the tv at all. Highly recommend this property. 10 out of 10 in our opinion.”

“So much to do in Brandywine Valley and this home was a perfect home base. The location was close to everything - historic sites, antique shops, wineries, great restaurants and Longwood Gardens. It’s advertised as “cozy” and we found it charming and comfortable. Loved the excellent communication, ease of entry and departure, and warm welcome from our hostess. It was a perfect weekend getaway.”

“I would highly recommend staying here! The hosts were friendly and very responsive. Check in was seamless and the house was clean and inviting. Although not having a television was unexpected it was nice to disconnect from the world for a few days.
