Perfect location for single/couple
Very private and can walk to many (if not all) of Southport’s restaurants and shops. Spent anniversary with my wife. Cottage had all the amenities and hosts were excellent with communication and checkin. Looking forward to staying there again.

Adorable Weekend Getaway!
Had an absolute fantastic time here this weekend! Very clean, and the perfect space. I would recommend bring some bug stray if you plan to sit outside, but otherwise no complaints! Will definitely be coming back :)

It was a wonderful place in the heart of town. I was surprised how quite it was. Loved the screened in side porch. Really clean. Great parking. Could have walked to all the best spots. Highly recommended.

LDW in Southport!
Had a great 2 night stay at Kelly’s cottage! We stayed in Southport for Labor Day weekend and would DEFINITELY book again! Walkable distance to downtown shops/restaurants, a 15-min drive to the beach, private entry and parking! Welcome basket was such a kind touch and we loved little unexpected touches like coffee being in the cabinet and beach towels being provided. This was the perfect little cottage and we’d love to visit again!

The cottage is adorable! The pictures are accurate. Perfect location. Park the car in your private space and walk to the restaurants and shops and swings watching dolphins. Kelly is great to work with. Southport is a gem.

Such a great little cottage!!
We enjoyed our stay at Birdsong cottage! Kelly was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us around. Such a cute, tucked away gem of a place!! Walking distance to all that Southport has to offer! We loved celebrating our anniversary here this year! If you are looking for a great little romantic spot for your Southport stay…then you found it!!

Quaint Comfortable Cottage
Bird Song Cottage is a real treat. It is centrally located, well appointed, clean, excellent secure Wi-Fi, and well furnished. I would highly recommend it and I would definitely go back to stay again. The hosts are very thoughtful and thorough with their information and preparation. Great find!

Perfect location in Southport!
Loved this cottage! Perfect for a couple. So nice to have a charcuterie plate & bottle of wine waiting for us!! We could walk to restaurants & shops within 10 minutes. Kelly met us at the gate to walk to the cottage. Nice to have the owners so close. We live just 30 minutes away so this was a “staycation” for 2 nights. We love Southport! So many restaurants & shops! 1st night was a stop at American Fish for a drink then dinner at Edgewater 122. So yummy! Brunch next day at Cafe Koa, wine in the afternoon at Haven Southport, dinner at Dry Street Pub & Pizza. All excellent and so close to the Cottage! We highly recommend this cottage! 😍

Lovely cottage
My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Birdsong cottage. Kelly was incredibly kind, and although we didnt need to contact her, it was nice to know she was close by if we needed anything. The cottage was very clean. The location was great. We could walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. I would highly recommend this home and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Home away from home!
Birdsong cottage is a wonderful place to stay! Perfect for just 2 people. The walk back to the cottage on the brink walkway is lovey. We so enjoyed sitting out on the front patio and watching the birds. We parked our car and was able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Kelly and Robert also had a nice surprise in the refrigerator waiting for us! Thank you both so much for letting us stay with you. We will be back!

Get-away in a Garden
This property was ideal for our stay. Location was everything...we never had to drive once during our stay because we could walk to everything we needed or were interested in...craft show, boat show, restaurants, quaint shops, museum, waterfront, pub, etc! The rental is perfectly located in historic Southport. Most of all, at night when we needed to relax and unwind, we were able to enjoy sitting in the beautiful, serene, and private yard to enjoy wine and cheese and the breeze! There is a local venue nearby that had live music nightly, which we listened to from our yard. All music ended before 8:00pm and the whole community quiets down. Just peaceful. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided us with so many local pointers on places to go. The cottage was super comfortable and cozy with all the desired ammenities. We will definitely be returning to this rental!
