“We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. “The house, furniture and appliances were in great condition. All beds were very comfortable. Plenty of good firewood to burn. Beautiful view across the mountains from the spacious hot tub. Plenty of room for our two families of four. The free shuttle would pick us up at the bottom of the driveway within minutes of calling them. The host was so easy to communicate with, helpful and very nice. Definitely staying here from now on.”

“Three families with teens and tweens had a wonderful time this weekend. We were steps from the slopes and had everything for a comfortable and fun weekend. The three teen boys loved the bunk/gameroom. The hot tub was a great place to warm up after skiing. We will absolutely be back.”

“My partner and I stayed at Drennen Ridge Farm Guest House for two nights. The owners were very hospitable and checked in with us at the beginning and end of our stay. The place was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our short stay. But the location was the icing on the cake! Breathtaking! We came to bike the Greenbrier Ridge Trail and the guest house was a only a short distance to Marlinton and the trail. We highly recommend this place! ”

“The cabin is amazing! Had a fire going the whole weekend and went in the hot tub every night. Only problem was parking can be sketchy. The driveway is steep/angled and was fully iced over during our stay. Still totally worth it.”

“Property was incredible. Tucked away in the hills of West Virginia, it’s secluded but also has neighbors around the corner. Best of both worlds.Minutes from amazing hikes and views, waterfalls and white water rafting. Cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was with the area and all there is to do.Owner was excellent, communicated well and left prefect instructions for check out.Quick to respond to any questions.Would 100% book here again. ”

“We had a wonderful time at this property. We were in town for a family reunion and were so thankful to find something in Craigsville. We truly enjoyed the tub and the shower. My husband is thinking about redoing our bathroom now! The house was so clean and comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches. Looking forward to a future stay here!”

“Such a sweet small town and this rental is a great location because it’s just a few blocks from restaurants, the river, and the rail trail but far enough that there isn’t much traffic! The home is fully stocked with everything you need (they seriously thought of everything!) The host was super easy to chat with about local suggestions and questions about our planning before arriving! The house doesn’t have AC but fans are provided for each room which was helpful! We even brought a couple more...
