“We loved our stay in Brixham and couldn't get enough of the view from the living area. The property has everything you need and more. We loved having the option of a bath and a shower and even with my fear of heights, I managed the external staircase! We enjoyed lots of walks and some cycling. Would recommend researching the route to Kingswear better than we did. Very beautiful but more challenging than we anticipated! We thoroughly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to book...

“Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow).”

“The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property.”

“Great location. Lovely accommodation, with all bedrooms great size, lounge large and bright, and a massive dining table. Kitchen had everything you could need, and more crocks than seen anywhere else. All very clean and tidy. A very comfortable home from home for a family holiday including toddlers and dogs. Would definitely think about going back. Our first time to the Salcombe area, which we really enjoyed, both Salcombe and the spectacular surrounding coastline and villages.”

“I contacted the property hosts before booking as I would be arriving late and they were very helpful and accommodating. I also received check in details over text so great to refer back to on arrival with a fried brain from a long drive. “We had a lovely stay in Bovisands. A fine chalet, comfortable, well equipped, cosy, and with splendid views over the Plymouth Sound, every time of the day and with each type of wheather. It is lovely to wake up and hear nothing but the sound of the waves. We made several walks on the beautiful coast path and visited Cotehele, Drogo, Compton, Saltram. Plymouth and Exeter we found less interesting. Shirley was very adequate when we told her that the towel radiator in the bathroom was not working....

“This is a really nice hotel. The room was spacious and clean, had everything we needed and the bed was really comfy. We had a room overlooking the road and had the windows open so it was a little noisy but not overwhelming and what you'd expect really. We've stayed in a sea view room previously where the only was literally the sea but the room was older and a little more "tired" but still well equipped and clean so I guess it all balances out. Parking is easy. ”

“We had an overnight stay for a concert at the Princess Pavillion. Ideal location for this as the theatre was within walking distance. Reception staff very welcoming and everything was lovely and clean. The room was spacious and the toilet/shower room modern and bright. Comfy bed and great selection for breakfast. No negative comments at all except that the hotel does not have a carpark but a public car park is quite close.”
