La casa está genial, está a media cuadra de la playa, la alberca es grande y el área de estar es muy cómoda y amplia. Además algo que agradecemos enormemente es tener el control de la temperatura, estaba helado! Y por las noches teníamos que subir un poco la temperatura; durante varias vacaciones en otras casas no nos permitían bajar la temperatura y hacía calor, aquí no fue el caso! Tiene todo lo que ocupábamos para nuestra estancia, electrodomésticos en la cocina, juguetes en el área de alberca, lavadora y secadora funcionan genial y en general tiene una decoración muy bonita. Tiene doble balcón con sillas para estar y las habitaciones tenían suficiente espacio para almacenar nuestro equipaje. Como dato, hay dos baños completos: en la habitación del primer piso no hay baño. Le resto media estrella porque el personal de limpieza no hizo bien las camas, estaban sucias y había cabellos entre las sabanas y en las almohadas. Además el agua de la alberca estaba muy caliente, no supimos como apagar el calentador. Por el resto estuvo genial, la recomendamos para unas vacaciones geniales.

The perfect place for a beach stay in South Padre!
My husband and I booked this trip with our two adult children and their significant others as well as our 2 year old granddaughter. The floor plan was perfect and having a king bed in each of the rooms was a bonus. Everything was very comfortable, clean, and the location is spectacular. It is a quick walk to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. After a day at the beach, we really enjoyed cooking out and using the pool in the late afternoon and evening. The outdoor space is just beautiful! We were prepared with supplies after reading reviews such as paper plates, napkins, paper towels, TP, coffee filters, and spices to cook with. For the next guest, we left some of these things! The only things that could be improved is providing more than one key to access the place and adding a dishwasher. However, these were NOT deal breakers. There is a bathroom at the lower level on the side of the house to access which was so convenient when using the pool. We had a small leak in the kitchen sink and the management company was there within a couple hours to fix it. We highly recommend! Our daughter got engaged on this trip and having such a beautiful home to celebrate and enjoy the week made it extra special!!

Nice Stay
Home was fairly clean and nice. Enjoyed our stay, but did have a couple of issues. No downstairs bathroom for 1st floor bedroom was an issue, as only the two upstairs bedrooms had showers in them. Second floor half bath was convenient but no shower available. Pool was not clean, and had lots of dead insects and roaches in it. Water was stained and cloudy and mold was on side of pool. House was clean, this was a pool issue only. Beds slept well, but might want to bring your own pillow. Overall a nice stay.

Bring Your Own Broom
Beautiful property. Comfortable beds. Great pool area. If you are staying a few days and like to keep the floors clean you will need to bring your own broom. If you like to cook, you will need to bring all your spices. The house comes with Zero spices. The pool was a little dirty. The spiral staircase is very rusted and might cut your feet if you are barefoot.

Hot tub constantly empty
We arrived about 6 on Saturday…it rained on Sunday Monday we were in hot tub I. Afternoon by evening the water dropped and Tuesday mornin water was barely above seats and below jets…had to call every morning until Saturday to have hot tub filled…a pool person wax out every day.. we left on Saturday morning and that was the first morning since Tuesday that the hot tub was full and working… the day we left

Excellent Property with Amazing Property Management
We come every year to SPI with our family and best friends. This is a 10 year tradition. We never end up staying at the same place for various reasons so we’ve tried a lot of them. The property was exactly as listed and we enjoyed it immensely. I will say, the reviews pointed out a squeaky master bed for the last year. I assumed that would’ve been addressed by now so it was disappointing it was not. That was the biggest downside and not a deal breaker for us, although I do hope it gets fixed soon for future guests. We had a few minor hiccups, but all were addressed immediately by Celia and her staff. They were super helpful and polite and remedied them within a hour of our reaching out. And these were not a huge deal—just needed a few coffee mugs and some oven mitts. All in all we had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed yet another great vaca trip to SPI. Rest assured if you stay at any property managed by Vacasa and Celia’s team, you will be in great hands!

Location and pool were great, even though the pool area wasn’t cleaned, garbage was full, trash left all over. 2 blocks from beach was awesome. The air conditioner worked great. But very few extras. No spices, 1 roll of t.p. Per bathroom, plenty of dish washer pods but no dishwasher. I give it a solid 4 out of 5.

Great Place
We really enjoyed our stay here. Note, there is no dishwasher. I know that was confusing everyone in the reviews I read. Also, I would note that this house has a lot of breakable decorations. My youngest was 7yrs old and I was nervous he'd break something (which he never did). I recommend bringing pans if you plan to cook a lot. The house only had two very small pans. We had no issues with the pool or hot tub. Also, keep in mind that this house uses a physical key for entry. Of all the VRBO houses I've rented, this is the only one to have a physical key. This is a problem if your family wants to split up and do different things. Every other VRBO home I've rented has a keypad on the door to lock it up which makes it easier for families to go in different directions.

Beautiful with a few flaws!
No air conditioning in the lower bedroom so it's impossible to sleep and the temp was only in the 70’s. No dishwasher, adequate cooking items are needed and no hot water in the kitchen for dishes. Would be helpful to have basic staples...salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towel and beach towels to name a few.

Needs maintenance and cleaning
Swimming pool looked murky and dirty. We called the management office and they sent someone the next day who, somehow, knew the group before ours had allowed close to 30 people in the pool which is not allowed. How did he know? Why did he not clean it before we arrived? There were not enough extra pillows, and from the ones available they were stained and extremely dirty and smelly There were no extra blankets. The following day we received new pillows and blankets. It is just a matter of checking before the next group arrives. Master bedroom bed very squeaky. Sliding door handle downstairs is broken. Trash, leaves and debris outside on the swimming pool deck area. Bathroom door does not lock (third floor second bedroom). Bedroom door does not lock (third floor second bedroom). Kitchen hood light bulb is out. Bedroom fan does not turn on (third floor second bedroom). Microwave does not work, gives error message on display. Toilet handle very loose, second floor bathroom. Dinning room table smelled dirty, we cleaned it. Cooktop smelled dirty, we cleaned it. Outside grill is extremely dirty. We couldn't use it. Outside table next to the grill was very dirty, we cleaned it. Outside bathroom smelled like pee, a lot. We cleaned it. In general, the kitchen needs more pots, pans and utensils as well as a tea kettle. There are dishwasher tabs, but there is no dishwasher.

"Just a Little Deceiving"
We enjoyed our visit to South Padre Island, however, we felt that the pictures of the property were a little deceiving. The property itself is a little more "run down" that what is shown in the pictures and we do understand that properties do have wear and tear but we were a little disappointed. Our BIGGEST complaint was the fact that we could not turn the air condition below 72 degrees. We are in JUNE in TEXAS and it is HOT. Upon talking to the management company we were provided a (very noisy) box fan. We also had NO hot water when we tried to shower on the first day but it was fixed by the management company pretty quickly. I probably would not stay at this property again.

Nice house, sort on a few amenities
House was great! Location was great! Controllers for fans in upper 2 bedrooms missing and since AC could not go lower than 74 fans would have been nice. No closets, so living out of suitcase required. Beach chairs and umbrella (which were locked in the garage) would have been nice. But overall it was a very nice place.

Nice home close to beach
This was a nice retreat for 2 couples. It was just a 3 minute walk to the beach on a quiet street. We visited in February when a cold snap resulted in 3 days in the 30s and 40s. Furnace keep the place warm, especially the bedrooms. The outdoor hot tub worked well even with cold temperature. Turn it n and 30-40 minutes later the hot tub is 102 and the pool in the upper 80s. Nicely furnished. Kitchen has most everything you need. Local manger is very responsive to requests.

Local phone number for help was a no working number called the 800 number took 3 hours to get a return call…no shades on the sliding glass doors on 1st&2nd floors…light switches everywhere and no directions for anything…fan in master didn’t work…no cable or antenna in bedrooms upstairs….service men before 8:45am to replace electrical panel to pool….took 3 hours and after that couldn’t use the pool…the only reason we rented it…not a child friendly place knickknacks everywhere and no bathtub…not that we needed it but there is no dishwasher either!

First time in south padre island
We couldn’t have had a better stay. The place was spotless and nicely decorated. The beds were really comfortable with a diverse grouping of pillows, I’m a soft pillow and she’s a firm. The private pool and jacuzzi were a blast. I only wish we would’ve brought more people to maximize the size of the place. We’ve stayed at the coast often and this was hands down our favorite place to date.

Family Friendly Oasis
Wonderful house in a great location, very close to the beach. The kids spent a ton of time in the pool and making the less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Separate floors gave the opportunity for the family to find their own space to relax and recharge. Property manager was super responsive, had to call after a long power outage and he was friendly and super helpful even late at night. Kitchen had several items I was ha soy to find, Keurig, air fryer, plastic cups. Overall a wonderful stay in a great house.

Did not want to leave lol
Absolutely fell in love with this place and the location is perfect! The place and outside area were super clean and the house is just sooo BEAUTIFUL. Our trip was way too short and we were sad leaving this morning. Next time we will book for a longer stay forsure! Only thing we struggled with, was getting up early to check out. Wish we coulda had a couple more hours but totally understand why ☺️☺️☺️ we will be back!!!

***HEATED POOL!!!***
We stayed at this property for four weeks in February. The property manager was prompt with this responses and made sure our stay was comfortable. The heated pool absolutely made our stay. It allowed our kids to swim when it wasn't super warm outside. The one thing to note with this property is the two full bathrooms are on the third level. There is a half bath off the kitchen. Although the bedroom downstairs doesn't have a bathroom inside, there is an outside toilet in the pool area, which is right outside this bedroom. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!!

Great place to stay!
This is a beautiful home in a great location! I highly recommend!! There is no dishwasher and the kitchen is not well stocked with items for easy cooking, but we totally overlooked those shortcomings and had a great time!

Nice vacation home, will come back next time
Nicely renovated and decorated. Kids loved the pool! No full bath for the first floor bedroom, but it didn’t bother us since we didn’t use that bedroom. Clean house, modern kitchen, lots of lights, plenty of dinnerware. No dishwasher otherwise it would have been perfect. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely consider staying here again next time.
