Great place!
This was the perfect location! It was close to many restaurants and shops and an easy walk to heavenly village. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were large. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice bonus! Would recommend staying here.

Never Again
The room was not as advertised and very outdated. There was no silverware in the kitchen. It was our anniversary weekend. We were also attending the golf tournament that was happening the same weekend. We requested a late checkout so that we could go to the tournament and pack our things after. We were denied an late check out, therefore we had to pack uo all.of our things before the tournament, maiking us late and missing out on seeing/experiencing things we were excited about and paud a lot of money for. Not including what we paid for our stay, very over priced for what we experienced... We werent allowed to check in until after 4p. So i know that is standard and the same for whomever was checking into that room that day after us. Giving us a late check out would have only been 1p. That would gove them 3hrs to turn the room over, and given the condition the room was in when we got it...they dont put mych time into tuening the room over and getting it nice and clean for the next person anyways. The girl at the front desk when we asked for the late check out sunday was also extremely rude. Over all, a very bad experience that was supposed to be a great anniversary weekend for us. For the amount of money that I paid especially...Never again.

39th Anniversary
We did enjoy our stay in Tahoe as our first ever visit. To say this we mean the activities we chose to do. The condo was an older than expected condo with furnishings that did not come close to what was presented. The kitchen cabinets & drawers were terribly old, & didn’t close. The bed was comfortable if you prefer hard beds. The unit was clean, just old. We are avid skiers and if we had thought this unit was an older ski place we would have chosen a different place. It would be great for ski season where that’s what’s is focused on and not really relaxing in comfort.

Amazing location, old building
Overall, our stay went well. The location is amazing, it’s directly behind Heavenly Village (main tourist center) and a very close drive to the lake. The check in was easy and the hosts were efficient and communicative. The place has an AC and heater and full kitchen, which was great, and the resort overall has a game room. Our only issue was that the building itself was very dated (difficult to open the doors, old smell, tub drain was defective). Also, some of the sheets for the pullout couch were not clean and we had to request new ones.

Anniversary vacation
Throughly enjoyed our vacation in Beautiful Lake Tahoe. We were never told the place was called Forest Suites. But once we found it. We loved it. Good size, very comfortable bed. Big perk walking distance to heavenly village, harrahs etc. it was perfect. Everyone accommodating and very nice. We didn’t know about the resort fee til we got there so that was a big surprise too. But highly recommend Forest Suites! We will be back. It was our 30th year anniversary and so glad we spent the week here.

Great location but unit needs updating
We loved the location. The facilities were also great and very family friendly. The unit and property could definitely use some updating. It is very outdated. Besides that it was a great place to stay.

Fun times but dissappinted with stay
First off, this is by no means a condo so the property name is deceiving. Second, I've stayed at Forest Suites multiple times and would have been way better off going directly through them vs through vrbo. On top of the fees and room (not condo) per night you still have to pay a fee to the hotel. Third, this room was beat up, had cracks, the floors were gross and made our feet black and the walls are sooooo thin. We could here whatever craziness and loud banging that was going on above us...so frustrating. On a good note, I loved the location to the strip, the great breakfast and the pool, spa and fire pit options.

Overall satisfied. For the owner - Things that need attention: Sliding door doesn't lock. Ants in the kitchen. Bathroom towel rack is broken. Shower handle is loose, ready to brake. Bath fan does not work- bathroom is flooded with steam from shower. A wood balustrade on the patio deck is loose and needs repaired, safety hazard. The tub was draining slow, but maintenence crew fixed quickly. It's an old unit that's worn, but for the price I think we would return

Property was dated and worn, couch was not the same couch that was in the picture, and the one that was there was very uncomfortable. Property was attached to a Resort and I didn’t like that. Rustic was not the right description.

Okay
This property is located in a resort-style condo. The actual resort is older and kept up. There is a cute game room as part of the resort and there were fun theme nights like ice cream night and smores night and wine tasting. So, we liked the resort but our actual room wasn't fantastic. It is in need of an update. I didn't feel like it was overly clean but it wasn't filthy. The biggest flaw is the smell. This room smells awful and since the worst smells came from the bathroom and under the kitchen sink, I wonder if it was possibly a plumbing issue. I could not recommend this room because of that but the tower that this room is in is in the process of renovations and so I don't know if this actual room will at some date be improved.

Perfect stay
I was there with my family and this place is absolute gem. Walking distance from all attraction points. Place was super clean and linens were fresh. We had a issue with sink and it was resolved in 1 hour after notifying front desk. Super helpful staff. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Lake Tahoe.

Very nice place in a great location!
The place is nice and cozy. It has all the basics. I gave it a 5-start review based on a common understanding of things people might need on during the stay and how everything was handled. I would say, that kitchen would benefit from a few more items such as a little seasoning/spice basic collection for anyone planning to do some cooking and eating in. Other than that, kitchen has everything is needed for a comfortable stay. However, if you plan on cooking, bring your own cooking oils/spices/etc. Besides utensils, there is nothing else provided/included. But again, the place is literally 100 yards or less walk to the Heavenly Village where anyone can find what to eat and entertain themselves. Overall, it's a great place to stay and very convenient to everything!

Clean and convenient
Property was in good shape, clean, and convenient to Heavenly gondola. Free breakfast was nice and good bonus. Resort fee slightly steeper than expected but wasn't a surprise since was mentioned up front. Would stay again.

Being within walking distance of the gondola is great. Being able to simmer in the jacuzzi after a full day of ragging down those slopes is wonderful. The place was nice and clean and everything we used worked. The included breakfast was standard and sufficient.

All good just weird encounter with front desk
We called the front desk because the wifi was not working well. I’m guessing the wifi was just not very good but the front desk lady said she was doing the reports on it and hung up the phone. What are the reports?? Besides this the location and room were very nice and I would love to stay again!
