Holiday family get-away
House was clean and roomy with a very nice kitchen and bathrooms. About 8-minute drive to Heavenly ski resort and 12-minute drive to stateline. Pool table was covered by ping pong top and the ping pong equipment was old and in bad condition. We didn't want to try to move the ping pong top so we didn't use it. Hot tub didn't stay very hot once the jets starting circulating. Gas BBQ was functional but very dirty (we left it way cleaner than we found it). The driveway looks much longer in the photo than it is; definitely 2-car maximum. It is nice to have the additional 2 inside garage spots, especially in the winter!

Perfect for two families
We stayed at this house for 5 days over Thanksgiving and it was perfect. We were two families with kids ranging from 12 to 21 and two dogs. There was ample space for everyone to spread out, a pool table for the kids and adults, a fantastic kitchen for cooking that was well stocked with equipment. The fireplace was lovely for sitting and watching movies together and the hot tub was wonderful for soaking at night. Also, the proximity was perfect - less than 10 mins drive to Heavenly, and all the action of South Lake Tahoe. We couldn’t have asked for more! We’ll definitely be back!

Simply one of the Best Properties
I recently stayed at this wonderful home for 5 days with friends and family, and we had a fantastic time. The house was very clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and amenities we wanted to visit. One of the highlights was the spacious yard, which was perfect for our dog to run around and play. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would love to come back in the future. Highly recommended!

Great stay for group, close drive to Heavenly
House was very nice and well kept. Pool/ping pong table was a great for entertaining. Kitchen was nice and large to feed many guests. I had a total of 7 who all slept comfortably. I wish I would have brought more. Maintenance was very quick to respond when we needed the hot tub adjusted. Highly recommend.

Great place needs some attention.
FYI this listing is managed by Vacasa. You might save some money if you try to book direct with Vacasa instead of VRBO. I stayed at the rental for a week with my family. The house and location are great. Large kitchen and two living rooms. Then only bedroom upstairs is the master and the rest are downstairs. The downstairs living room was great for watching movies. The hot tub and pool table are great. The check-in was a little rough, we showed up before the cleaners did and the place was not ready until 1.5 hours after the checkin time. The kitchen could have been stocked better and the place needs a little maintenance. The dimmer in one of the bedrooms prevented the lights turning off in one of the bedrooms. And the downstairs bathroom vent seemed to blow bathrooms air into the downstairs instead of out of the house. The vent ducting may be disconnected in the wall. I tried to leave a review on Vacasa but it seems impossible on their platform. I would stay here again!

Great but not perfect
There are some flaws which we noticed with lights and appliances, which made us think the place was rushed to market being not quite finished, but the essential experience was very good. Internet is fast, walls are thick, beds are comfortable. Pool table was a blast, if lacking chalk, and the ping pong net is broken but we still had fun with it. Location is close to the lake and there are trails all around. Our trip was in August but the heat was never any problem. The community rules about parties and guests are very off putting and strict and scary but the actual apparent enforcement is reasonable. The owners are a remote business called "Vacasa" which I usually worry about but they were pretty responsive to our communications. All in all, I was satisfied

It is a beautiful home. We did find towels behind the washer. Thought the refrigerator should have been turned on sooner. Took too long to get cold. We did have a great time with our stay there. Very comfortable. Loved the shower with the jets.

Great place to use as a base for exploring Lake Tahoe area. There are only four bedrooms and one TV room with pull out couch. Only complaint was there was a woodpecker that had drilled a hole through the wood exterior wall and was living between the outside and inside walls. During the day it would sometimes pound away at the walls which was quite annoying.
