Basic accommodations near Norte Dame University. In town for a family wedding and didn’t want to stay at hotel due to space issues. I was looking for place with an outside patio, and this had one. However, there was no patio furniture to sit outside which I thought was odd. It may be because the backyards in this area are not fenced, which I also thought was odd. Other reviewers have said that the bathroom was small with inadequate lighting and mirror, which was true. I used the desk in the dining room as a vanity table which worked out well. The beds were really comfortable and the AC was very welcome and works great. The dishes (plates and cups) were plastic and I recommend the owner upgrades to china/glass—-it is very difficult to completely wash/clean plastic plates and china/glass is fairly inexpensive to purchase. House also had no iron and I had to borrow one from the hotel where the rest of my family was staying. When we arrived, there was a high-pitched sound throughout the house which we finally figured out was coming from rodent/insect repellants plugged into the outlets. We unplugged them so we would not be bothered with that noise. Unfortunately, on our last day, we did see a mouse. This is NOT a negative review— I would stay there again —- I am just providing some advice to the owners. And, finally, the grass in the front of the house was in need of a mowing.
