“We stayed at Iron Ridge for 2 nights in January. There were 4 couples and the home accommodated us well. One couple did need to sleep on single bunk beds. There were large spaces with comfortable seating and a large table to hang out. The property and access to the lake was wonderful. We walked on the lake to Giants ridge to watch a ski race. It's proximity to the ski area is perfect. Thanks for a fun weekend stay!”

“We had everything we needed. The pool table was a hit with everyone. The area just got about 7 inches of fresh snow the day before we arrived and we spent a day at Giants Ridge and the rest of the time just hanging out at the house. We enjoyed walking through the woods on the trails. Would definitely go back if we went to the area again.”

“While on a snowmobile trip from Canada down into MN we had the good fortune to book a stay at this BEAUTIFUL cabin right on the lake. It was spacious, super clean, warm, comfortable and very well appointed. Nick, the owner, was great to work with and the whole process was as easy as it could be. We’ll definitely be back next year!! …I only wish we would of stayed longer so we could have used the beautiful sauna!”

“We enjoyed our short stay at the Cozy Northwoods Cabin. The house perfect for our weekend getaway to Ely. House was just as described. The owner was nearby but we still felt like we had a private getaway. There were 5 deer out the backyard in the morning. Very peaceful.”

“My wife and I stayed for a weekend mid-winter. Although the outside temperatures were in the minus 20s (Celsius), inside we were very comfortable and warm. Property had everything we needed and much more, from towels and coffee in abundance, to three queen-size beds, a large kitchen and large living room. An ideal place to stay.”

If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. No one was around, wasn’t sure if we could put things in the fridge. No local tv, Netflix was provided which was a nice touch but we wanted weather. We would definitely stay again! Appreciate they don’t charge extra for a dog. ”
